This was in a nice area, unfortunately their was no air conditioning, the screen door did not lock therefore the patio door could not be left open and when we did open it someone was smoking dope outside. Apart from that it would be fine.

The room was larger than usual for a low budget motel. Everything looked clean to me. The breakfast was adequate. The big challenge was parking. Lot out front was full (only 5 or 6 spaces) and no place to park while checking in. Parking lot is under the building in a garage which needs a room card to get in. Once inside it is tricky to park a larger vehicle due to pillars supporting the building. Elevator to rooms is in parking garage. They had luggage carts available. When we came back after eating dinner there were no spaces left so we had to park across the street on the side of the road in the gravel area. No clerk at front desk; check-in done by phoning and being given instructions on where to find key cards. Odd system. After 9:00 p.m. parking garage doors are locked so it takes a key card to get through to the rooms. I couldn't get my card to open the door to the elevator after many attempts so I had to go through the lobby and take several flights of stairs which was hard for me to do.

Good value and it was located across the street from a walkway along the water. They upgraded us to a suite so that we had lots of room and it was very comfortable. The furnishings were dated and the lobby minuscule. Hot breakfast was good.

This hotel was excellent for the price we paid. I was able to book it at an off season price…it should have been $100.00 more per night, which I do not feel it was worth. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The included hot/cold breakfast was very good. We had a waterfront view if you turned your head to the right at the balcony railing.
