Renovated old farm house into a hotel. Picturesque location amongst hills and fields of olive trees but not so easy to find even with our Garmin GPS. Out of the way if planning to visit Florence. The lady at reception was awesome for check-in very polite and friendly. Another lady in the morning in halls very rude - checkout was at 11am and she knocked on our door at 10:50 telling us that we needed to leave right away that she had to get the room ready for guests arriving in the afternoon. We told her we would be out by 11 but she wasn't too happy.

Our road trip to Pompeii
The hotel is difficult to find and our satnav struggled. It is off the beaten track in a beautiful setting. We stayed in the hotel on the way to Pompeii and on the return trip. The views from the hotel are stunning. It is in a lovely area. The motorway is quite close and the noise of the traffic can be heard from the rooms. The only meal available is a typical French breakfast and that is served in a charming restaurant.

Secluded villa in scandicci outside Florence
This villa is like a movie scene, very beautiful property over looking olive trees and the country side. Staff is amazing and a lot of help. Loved this place!

We spent only one night at the hotel. Had picnic in the garden. There were mosquitos. The host offered us to eat inside, but we preferred the outside view. The receptionist when we arrived and the person responsible for breakfast when we left spoke nearly no English, communication was thus difficult, but not very necessary. The Vila is relatively quiet despite being near the highway. As it is atop of a steep hill, while the highway is at the bottom. We saw ponies and a nice orchard. There was a makeshift ping pong table and a volley/badminton net.

Villa living at its best
Beautiful old villa with exposed beams and gated parking set on acres of olive trees. large garden area to relax in. Room was small but clean and comfortable with a.c. and opened directly onto a large balcony area. Florence is a short tram ride away with free parking at the tram station. Views of the mountains and Florence from the tower of the hotel.

Most comfortable hotel Ever
I stayed here for 2 nights then went to Germany and Spain. After that I needed to go back to Florence, so I booked the same hotel with no doubt! It's like a family business and everything is clean and nice, especially the front desk.

Wonderful place in the hills above Florence
We had a wonderful two nights here while we visited Florence. The rooms are large and clean with good wi-fi and although in the middle of the countryside quite close to a road no noise can be heard. Breakfast is good and the service is excellent. A car and satnav are essential. Wonderful place.

The place was rustic and well maintained. Really loved the large grounds, with the friendly dog and playful kittens. Room was a little too small though for two people though. Breakfast was simple but decent.

nice hotel and great acces to Florence
we stayed with our 2 daughters, the room was huge and clean. Hotel is clean and quiet. we were in the back building and Wifi was not working, we had to got to the front desk for internet. The acces to Florence via Tram is near and easy to reach by car.

Excellent Stay
The family enjoyed our weekend getaway. The villa is about 15 min outside the city center, but was close enough to get in and out easily. The hosts were very kind and made us feel at home. It had a very nice Tuscan villa feeling. They sell olive oil, honey and jam preservatives that are grown on the property. Absolutely beautiful and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

First, If you using GPS (Garmin), you could not find the address - So, you must have Google map on cell phone to find the place. The GPS coordination is also wrong. It take me 3 hours from Florence to find the place - even after got help from 3 nice Italian. It was strange noise on the night, I was there with my wife Else, it is very good B & B

The hotel is outside Scandicci, a bit hard to find but unique because it's an actual small villa and is lovingly taken care of. Rooms are clean and comfy, breakfast is great.

Difficult to find
although selected for being out of town (15min from firenze) it was not on the roadmaps or GPS -the address of this place is hard to find - but stopping in scandicci and asking directions is always fun right? :) Zeigato in scandicci was our preferred place for dinner and cheap cocktails, only five minute drive away and there were local family concerts and markets on of an evening for a quiet entertainment. The room was spacious and very clean and tidy but we really noticed the lack of a bar fridge, even unstocked, to keep toddlers food and drinks cold. the staff speak very little english which would be overcome if there was some welcome pack or brochure with information, including how to make the internet work but there was not and discussions for us who only speak holiday tourist italian were a challenge. despite this they were friendly.

The place was great. Clean rooms, friendly staff and a great breakfast. The property is a villa and is about a 20 minute drive from the main parking in Florence. I was concerned that this might be a issue, but the stay is very comfortable if you have a car.
