Peaceful & Scenic
Great view, comfortable sized room, very nice breakfast. We didn’t ask but did not see air-conditioning in our room as advertised on hotels.com. It was a pretty warm night so tried leaving windows open and had mosquitoes, Enjoyed the hedgehogs!

Need GPS to get here
We stayed in a new room with a beautiful view over the valley. The temp was in the high 80's(no AC), but the room cooled off with the windows open. The food was excellent and the outdoor seating wonderful. We speak no German, the staff spoke excellent English. We had a problem at the previous hotel, we had checked out and the staff did not ask for a credit card. When we arrived at the Igelwirt we had an Email wanting our credit card#. The staff at the Igelwirt went beyond being helpful by phoning the other hotel and getting everything squared away for us. Thank you. The hotel is in a very small village they do have some signs, but we definitely needed GPS to get here.
