Long sandy beaches in front of the fortified state protection dike, which invites you to cycle, walk or just take a leisurely stroll, characterize the stretch of coast from the district of California via Brazil to Schönberger Strand. Cultural events for young and old are available at all times of the year on Schönberger Strand and the surrounding area. Tasting bull specialties surrounded by Holstein hospitality in the various restaurants and inns in the area round off the culinary delight.
The 2-room apartment is located on the ground floor of the "Panorama" apartment building on Schönberger Strand. The "Panorama" is directly behind the dike and the promenade. You enter the combined living area with dining area, kitchenette with dishwasher and access to the furnished terrace with a beach chair. The sofa bed (lying area 140x200cm) can quickly be converted into a bed for 2 people. Since May 2019: The separate bedroom has a 140x200cm wide double bed. The bright shower room is to the left of the entrance. You can relax on the sheltered terrace of the apartment - from here you have a limited view of the Baltic Sea.
It is only a few minutes' walk to the pier, restaurants, fishing huts, shops or the supermarket. You can park your car comfortably in the underground car park (clearance height 2.00 m) of the apartment house.
A reserved beach chair on the beach is also available free of charge from May to September! This is not on the dog beach! Depending on the weather, your beach chair could be ready for you earlier or later.

The Schönberg area has 3 dog beaches in its beach sections where dogs can take you to the beach and can swim in the Baltic Sea. There is a dog beach in California (half a groyne field east of groyne 26), Brazil (half a groyne field east of groyne 32) and directly on Schönberger Strand (half a groyne field east of groyne 41).
