Hideaway is an original Sea Ranch gem just steps away from the ocean bluff. With 1 bedroom, a loft, and 1 bathroom this vacation home can accommodate up to 3 guests - perfect for a couple and a child (14+ yrs. old). Vacationers will love strolling along the dramatic bluffs with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Spend your days hiking along trails or at Black Point Beach just down the road.

Entry to this condo is down a flight of stairs and reveals a 2-story loft style layout. A sunken living room has two sitting areas around a fireplace. The fireplace is ideal for those chilly nights when the breeze picks up. Curl up on the couch and turn on the mounted 32" flat screen TV (no cable). A stereo and WIFI are also offered to make you feel at home (Ethernet access only, cables not provided, BYO cables/laptop with Ethernet port). The built-in window seat has views of the blue ocean water perfect for unwinding with a good novel. An additional sitting area has 2 lounge chairs for indulging in unobstructed views of the ocean.

Across the common living space is the kitchen. This kitchen has plenty of counter space and all appliances a chef would need to cook delicious food. Whip up your favorite meal in here and then call your guests to dinner at the dining table. The table can seat 4.

When you are ready to catch up on some rest, head upstairs to the loft area. Both sleeping areas are loft style that open over partial walls to the living room below. The first area has a Queen-sized bed. This room has an attached full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Past the bathroom is the second area with a Twin-sized bed.

Sea Ranch is a planned community with over 3000 acres featuring: The Historic Sea Ranch Chapel, The Sea Ranch lodge (restaurant and shopping), a 50-mile trail system with 6 public beach access points, 18-hole golf course (open to the public), dog park, and 3 recreation centers with outdoor pools, locker rooms, half-basketball court, and tennis courts (amenities vary with each center) for guest use.

Beautiful views of ocean ....inside was meh
The house is exactly as pictured online and the ocean view is breathtaking. But in all honesty the house really needs some maintenance. For example the kitchen there was a pot sitting on the ledge that opens into the sitting room. Neither of us could figure out the purpose until it started to rain and suddenly we heard the dripping that started up and never stopped the whole weekend. In addition when the toilet was flushed a big gush of water came out of the ceiling into the pot. Firewood is stacked in each condo's driveway we noted that there was none for our unit so we called the number on the paperwork we were handed at check in and left a message. The next morning we checked for wood and there was none. We were headed out sightseeing that morning and decided to stop by the office and make sure they received the message. We were advised that we should receive some firewood by the time we returned later in the day. Needless to say when we returned to the condo no wood had come. Very disappointing. If you are seeking a wonderful view and don't mind the minor flaws of the condo it's a perfect getaway.

Comfortable Condo in Great Location
Location is amazing. View is amazing. The condo is tired and not very well-equipped but it was relatively clean and very comfortable (understandably, it’s difficult to clean rough wood surfaces). Make sure to check your cell coverage or you might be stuck with no cell service and no WiFi as I did. Or buy a good map. It was nice to be walking distance to the lodge for a drink or dinner (and a little WiFi). Trail and beach access couldn’t be better. I think Blackpoint Beach might be my favorite of all I visited in the area.

WARNING! : Stay far away from this management Co. Plz.
No electricity and they are fighting to not return our money. This is not hospitality. It's an extreme ignorance of human decency. Dazed and confused they are. This may go to small claims court because these people clearly need a lesson.

Well located older property. Nice plan but could use some updating
We enjoyed our two day stay in this conveniently located (adjacent to the Sea Ranch Lodge and restaurant) condo. Unit is well designed and appointed. Generally older and could use some remodeling but overall a good experience.

Quiet, Relaxing Stay
My husband and I rented this condo for our 10th anniversary and it was lovely. Quiet, comfortable, clean and perfect for a couple. It's proximity to the lodge and to the private walking trails was awesome. The view was spectacular and the complex the condo was in was very quiet. The only drawbacks were we had an issue with the shower that was unable to be resolved while we were there. We also had a vehicle too large to fit in the designated spot, we were not aware there were height restrictions.

Location tops, condo OK
For solitude on a dramatic and gorgeous coast line, it would be hard to beat the location in the USA; at the price we paid. Seals, whales, birds, waves crashing on rock outcroppings, sunsets: WOW! However; the condo needs updating, badly, but we adapted. Furniture is worn, needs new bed/bedding, shower head and toilet: to begin with. The large sunlight, over the master bed REALLY needs an operative shade, too much light. Within an easy walk to a restaurant - bar, that were quite good, if you don't want to cook. Perhaps our last CA vacation, but if your OK spending money there, and the owner spends some bucks on upgrading the condo, sure go for it.

serious problems with the property never resolved
Upon arrival I notice a number of problems that affect the safety and usability of the property. I sent a note to the property manager as well as to VRBO. I never heard from the property manager. The location and the view are fantastic per the pictures but until the property manager assures that the maintenance issues have been addressed, I would recommend against booking here, no matter how beautiful the spot

Not impressed
Unfortunately I did not have a good experience here. The vacation home cleanliness was unsatisfactory, bed linens not clean, cob webs and spiders throughout, other insects. The final straw was the rodent droppings in the kitchen. It is clear that this property is not looked after. No contact reveived back from the property manager.
