Not Great. Try somewhere else.
Not Great. I won’t be staying here again on our next trip to Seattle. Check in and out was easy and concierge was helpful and friendly. Room was underwhelming with a small TV and a bathroom that stunk. When dining, our waiter “forgot” our appetizer during 1/2 off happy hour and we got our main course first. Waiter had the nerve to ask if we still wanted the appetizer and we were charged full price when we finally received the appetizer. During breakfast the head waiter came out and informed us that that they wouldn’t be serving a hot breakfast that we had paid for. We attempted to get a refund and they could not give one. Less than 15 minutes later we see hot food coming out and head waiter was extremely rude when we got our breakfast at that point saying “ are you happy now, we have hot breakfast for you” Not what I would expect from a IHG hotel.

This hotel is great if you have a weird flight time due to the 24 hour shuttle service!! It’s also super close to the rail that you can use to visit Seattle for a day pass of $6. The staff also helped us check in early which was very kind because we were exhausted after cruising. I would definitely stay here again if visit Seattle again.

Alarming Stay
Besides the hotel undergoing renovations which were not disclosed upon booking, we were woken from our sleep at 3 am due to a fire alarm going off. We jumped out of bed and raced outside where we met the security guard who said we could go outside and that it was due to someone in the kitchen. We got back to our room and our beds when it went off again. This time it was turned off quickly, but the damage was done. Called the front desk to see if we needed to leave and they said we did not and the alarm was due to someone drunk pulling the alarm. Second alarm was because fire department was resetting. Next morning we saw some people working on the alarm in a maintenance closet (on our way to breakfast). Manager on duty said he could not refund any of our stay due to going through a third party for booking (hotels.com). Interruption of sleep for false alarm is unacceptable.
