Hidden Creek Studio in Lake Forest Park!

Welcome to your hideaway studio on a quiet, forested lot, yet just a few minutes away from essential services and twenty minutes by car from downtown Seattle. You'll enjoy the entire studio with a queen bed, one bathroom, sitting area, and a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The studio is attached to our home and has a private entrance from the back yard. Take a stroll down our trail to McAleer Creek and enjoy the Overlook Deck with your morning coffee or an afternoon beverage.

The space: The studio is on a wooded, one and a half acre property along a creek greenbelt in the city of Lake Forest Park, just outside Seattle. Explore the creek and trail on the property, or take a relaxing walk in a quiet residential neighborhood. Shops, restaurants and amenities are close by. Located just one mile (1.6 km) from the Shoreline North light rail station with connections to the University of Washington, Capitol Hill, Downtown, stadiums, the International District and SeaTac Airport.

Outdoor amenities: In addition to the studio itself, walk the vintage brick path to the Overlook Deck on the edge of the creek ravine, and follow the trail down to the creek. Listen for owls, occasional coyotes, and watch for woodpeckers and rabbits along the way. The Overlook Deck is a shared space with your hosts, as is the outdoor table and sitting area on the concrete pad under the maple tree.

Other things to note: The brick path to the Overlook Deck and the trail to the creek are uneven, steep in parts and slippery when wet. These amenities are not readily available for guests with mobility limitations.

Cozy retreat with a beautiful garden area
Our 3 night stay was perfect in this lovely, cozy studio. Everything we needed for our little getaway was available & then someā€¦thanks Janne for the welcome drinks. Nice touch! The guest book was one of the most comprehensive Iā€™ve ever seen. Be sure to eat at the Local 104, one of Janneā€™s recommendations. Try the wood fired pizza & the house saladā€¦delicious! The studio was very clean, comfortable & zen like, especially with the peaceful garden view. We hope to be back sometime soon!

Has everything you need!
Nice, quaint place to stay. Has everything you need as long as youā€™re not planning on cooking any real meals. Property is lovely and access was easy. Backyard view is really pretty. Bed is really squeaky and the mattress and pillows could use an upgrade. Theyā€™re very soft and worn. Thatā€™s really the only ā€œissueā€ but itā€™s not a big deal for a short stay. Would stay again!

Perfect location, close to main roads, interstate, and still Serene surroundings.
The studio is equipped with all necessary items. The owners have thought every detail through. They are very prompt with communication. The place was clean, safe and very comfortable. I would recommend it without hesitation.

This place is well-organized, and well maintained. Whenever I thought of something I hadn't brought, like salt and pepper, if I looked around I found some. It's not fancy, but neither is anything tacky. We were happy to have this retreat from our delightful but rowdy toddler and preschool great grandchildren who we came to visit.

We came in a couple of days early before going on an Alaskan cruise out of Seattle. This studio apartment had everything we needed. It was clean, quiet, nicely furnished and had a wonderful backyard to overlook or spend time in. There is a notebook inside that has all the instructions and recommendations for the area you could need. You are close to grocery stores, restaurants, parks and I5. You can walk the quiet street of the neighborhood. There is a spot to park by the mailbox. We would stay here again no problem.

Cozy in the woods of Washington
My husband and I stayed her for our 4 night trip while visiting friends in Seattle. First off the location could not have been more perfect, right off of I-5, 20 minute drive into the heart of the city and then also close to gorgeous neighborhoods. Janne thought of absolutely everything to make our stay comfortable and easy. Plenty of space and the bed is super cozy. I appreciated the nice coffee maker ( we used it everyday) and drank it outside of the cute patio surrounded by the peaceful woods. There are even books and games if you are going chill in the cabin on a rainy day. Oh and the Water was hot and pressure was good! Also no prison ply TP only the best!

Awesome getaway!!
My wife and I came to Seattle for a weekend getaway and this was perfect! In a quiet neighborhood with beautiful yard. It was so nice to go stand on the deck in the morning with a coffee. Janne was the perfect host with great communication. I would recommend for any couple wanting to get away !!
