Welcome to spacious, modern, contemporary and completely renovated upper unit duplex in a well set quite neighborhood with a large private deck. This is a private and completely separate upper unit with 3Rooms, 2Baths, family/dining room, laundry facility; and spacious and fully functional kitchen with coffee bar.

The Space:
This upper level duplex has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. As you walk in up the stairs you will find an open concept living and dining room. Large kitchen is fully equipped with cooking essentials. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with a private bathroom, walk-in closet, and a crib for families with little ones. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed along with a desk for work or school. The third bedroom has a queen size bed. The second bathroom is in the hallway, easily accessible for guests staying in the smaller bedrooms. Short stay in Kent
We stayed in Kent to attend a Christian concert in Seattle. I will give positives and negatives. We have used VRBO for many years and are Gold renters. Never have we complained to an owner but this trip was the first regarding the cleanliness. I took pictures and if i could upload them i would to share with others our concerns. Positives: Check in was seamless. Convenient location. Quiet neighborhood. Negatives: The house was dirty!! Large amount of hair on the master bathroom floor, had to vacuum. Master shower was dirty with black mold in corners. Kitchen floor was sticky. Most of the kitchen drawers had food particles in them. Stove was so dirty with food and grease we did not cook. Very few kitchen items. Does not have an ice tray to make ice cubes. There was popcorn under the couch and was very visible. The 3 beds are not comfortable, very soft and felt like we were sleeping on a futon. There were only 4 kcups in the kitchen. Cupboard maked coffee had no coffee. No frills! We did contact the owner about the condition of the house. He reports there had been concerns from previous renters and is having trouble with his cleaning crew. He offered to have it cleaned which we declined as our stay was only 3 days and we were out of the house and our personal belongings were left out. The owner did leave more coffee which was greatly appreciated. It appeared to us the owner is in this rental for profits only and not doing anything to make renters stay comfortable.

Wonderful time in Kent
Our time at KentRenton was great. It was a great spot to be for everything we partook of while in WA. The place was super comfortable and a wonderful oasis. The amenities provide was great. This would a place for our next visit.

Great Place to Stay While Visiting Seattle
We enjoyed our stay and the place was as advertised. The check-in process was easy, although I had communicated with the owner and advised them that we would be arriving after dark--leaving the front outside door light on would have been a nice touch. The neighborhood is very quiet and very dark. We enjoyed the deck and admiring the huge fir trees in the back yard. We were able to springboard from the house to all of the Seattle sights with relative ease. The place is in a very beautiful spot. I was concerned, however, that the dishwasher was not functional and the owner did not respond to my query about getting it fixed. We had enjoyed great communication before the trip, but my text about the dishwasher went unanswered for three days.

Decent Stay for Seattle
I had to call the property manager a couple days before my stay to get my check-in information, as there was no additional communication after my booking. The place is also good enough for the price, but the floors need to be vacuumed, and the bedding had hair stuck in it so it wasn't the CLEANEST, but not the biggest deal. If youā€™re looking for a good value, decent place to stay for a trip to Seattle I would recommend it!

Great place for comfortable family stay.
Comfortable stay in residential neighborhood. Good location to home base for Seattle area adventures during our week visiting family. Lots of room for all. A couple days of noisey lower unit family of guests, but the rest of the weekk was quiet.. All in all was a great stay.

Great place for a family or even couple of families. Easy access to I-5 and close to groceries and restaurants. Perfect for a getaway. Host Dan is very responsive and helpful. We weren't aware that most homes in the Seattle area didn't have air conditioning. With the unusually warm weather in the area, he was kind enough to drop off an extra fan when we messaged him.
