The property is clean and is in a great area. However, the management is awful. First of all know that you are going to have to pay more through a different site for a cleaning fee and pet rent. Usually I would have canceled my reservation for this, but we were in a situation where we needed something fast. The manager for some reason would not give us any details about the property until the morning of our first day there, and the numeric key that he gave to get into the room was for a room that was occupied! There was an open suitcase in it. Then we were given a key to a different room and the door wouldnā€™t close and it kept beeping. I had had it and yelled at him over the phone to just give us a refund but he said no. Youā€™d think that giving us a key to SOMEONE ELSEā€™S DOOR would have been enough to give us our money back but no. So anyway, donā€™t stay here. Some random person might just walk right into your room.

BATHROOM MAY NOT BE CONNECTED TO ROOM. Ours was not, only 3 units out of 8 have connected bathrooms. Other have disconnected, but private bathrooms. Check-in was not intuitive, host was unhelpful when I communicated that the laundry machine didn't work, had overall investment-property vibes. Bed was comfortable, location was great.

Decent room for the price!
Home was clean and brand new. Room was large enough and spacious for two but host uses misleading photos. The ā€œKraken Suiteā€ Infact does not have a connected bathroom which was quite the bummer. You have a private bathroom but have to leave the room in order to access it. Building walls are paper thin as others mentioned, you hear every conversation, door code, door opening and closing of upstairs and downstairs and neighboring units. The room and space were very clean and comfortable otherwise. Street Parking is available but quite the headache. For the price, this place is awesome with its location to all downtown things. But be prepared for small headaches here and there if you canā€™t handle other room noises etc.

I absolutely loved our stay at the Seattle Kraken Sweet Suite. I wasn't sure what to expect when I realized it was a hostel but it went above and beyond my expectations. It was easy to check in, very clean, and so comfortable. I felt like I was in my college apartment again. Also enjoyed the kitchen space. It made it so easy to cook dinners with everything needed. Highly recommend.
