Not great service anywhere. Especially main bar. Older dated property. View from hotel room was a concrete wall. Expedia gave me a terrible room for a very expensive price. More expensive than my 5 star hotel room in Tokyo 2 weeks later.

Great-lobby area So so-room not as advertised So booked thru Expedia, our city view room for $377 a night was the rooftop surrounded by high rises. I looked at Expedia a few days before we were to check in and the price was $173ā€¦too late for me to cancel and rebook at the lower price and staff didnā€™t careā€¦ā€well thatā€™s how the reservations workā€ wa the answer. Cleanliness- bathroom stunk like urine Checkin- gentleman behind the desk at elite checkin was rude. Concierge were great! Awesome recommendations. Bathroom- skimped on amenities. This was not at all like other Westins. Westin has definitely downgraded since Marriott bought them. Very disappointed with this property.

Book your other option! They shouldnā€™t claim to be Marriott because itā€™s not up to Marriott standards. None of the rooms look like the images. They claim they are clean but the carpet is sticky and halls smell musty and old, I assume they know this because they include fresheners in the rooms. They sell their rooms with a ā€œviewā€ but the windows arenā€™t even cleaned. They donā€™t show the image of the towel location which is in the shower and the rack is all rusty leaving the towels with that residue too. The sheets on my bed had some sort of spill and I took a picture of that- they donā€™t even do the most basic which is provide cleaned sheets. There are also additional fees that arenā€™t disclosed until youā€™re at the counter with the rush of checking in. For the price you pay here you could put yourself at a much better updated and clean hotel.

The facility charges an extra $25/day which you can get back as a credit for food and beverages purchased that day but this is not clear in booking and not convenient. The rooms here are badly in need of a refresh (seats on desk chairs worn through,carpet stained and no place to store belongings). Itā€™s best for convention attendees who will spend little time in their room. Staff were good and food in restaurant decent

Room was spacious and great city views. My only comment is that no hotel should have two double beds, queen is fine, but double beds are too small to share. Also, the bathrooms could do with a refresh. Otherwise, would totally stay here again!

Early checkin was greatly appreciated. No ice machine on floor 10 had to go to 11. Great staff overcame some of the negatives like trash next to the elevator when we checked in was still there a day later when we checked out 24 hrs later .
