I went on a trip with my friend. We enjoyed this property. The grounds and the room was nice. We went hiking at airport mesa which was in walking distance. Every night we were able to see a beautiful sunset sitting in there garden area.they had a happy hour were you could get some wine and a bag of popcorn.It was in driving distance to hiking at Boyton canyon. Also you could easily walk to a nice restaurant next door.

Incredibly poor customer service!
We stayed on the 1st floor and heard every foot step from people above. Felt like the plumbing for the toilet above was right over us every time they flushed. My wife and I were up from 5:30am until the people left around 8:30. Manager refused to speak with me, instead had receptionist offer a 10% discount.

Stayed here before and love the location. The place is clean, well cared for and one of my favorite places. i took one star off because their beds are terrible. When i roll over, it makes a springy, clanking sound and over all they are not comfortable. Had two queens in my room and tried them both and they were the same. Other than that, I love this place. I had a rim view and nature did not disappoint.

We stayed at Sky Ranch Lodge in October 2024 and had a great experience. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms have been recently renovated and are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bed was vey comfortable and they have great pillows (no flat pancake pillows here!). If you can splurge for the rim view rooms, they are definitely worth it! We did a garden room and they were great too. My only minor complaint is that we were on the first floor and had an upstairs neighbor who was up walking at all hours of the night, and that was a bit loud. The property is beautifully designed and maintained with pretty gardens and great views. Airport Mesa is right next door, so you can skip the hassle of parking there and just walk over. They also have a great little wine and beer cafe on property. We had a great time watching the sunset and seeing some wildlife around the property. The property is also a short drive from many area attractions, and they do offer a complimentary shuttle for guests.

Sky Ranch Lodge is incredible, located on top of a mesa looking out at scenery as pretty as the Grand Canyon. My partner was not feeling great after his chemo treatment from the previous month, so we decided to just hang at the hotel for two nights and relax, and it was a wonderful experience. We had gotten a view room so we didnt need to leave our very private terrace to experience the beautiful red rock mountains which change colour throughout the day. Every morning hot air balloons float over the valley. Really pretty. We had a simulated fireplace which was lovely too. It’s fun to watch the airplanes take off and land from the small airport next door, sometimes small jets. There can be a bit of noise but it is charming. We ate meals at the excellent busy Mesa Grill airport restaurant next door. Make sure you make reservations. One night we just got take away from Whole Foods and our kitchenette handled that fine with a microwave, small fridge, sink, dishes and cutlery. There is a bar on site which was quite busy, though with a bit of attitude. The location is one of the top sights in Sedona, so I think the hotel gets overrun by other tourists and they have to be kept out. We loved the small pool and didnt take a hot tub. The lounge chairs are very comfortable. There were wedding guests having sex in the jacuzzi unabashedly the first evening which turned us off. The hotel hosts weddings nearly every weekend night, because of the spectacular view.
