Property was perfect for our gathering of sisters and my elderly mother. They all loved the house, gorgeous big yard with nice floating dock! We captured amazing sunrise & sunset pictures with beautiful reflection off water!!! Also had a fun time gathered around the nice fire pit area

What A Lovely Retreat!
The house is absolutely adorable and very clean. It’s decorated really nice as well. The backyard is a huge bonus- being able to either roast marshmallows, take the canoe on the water or just relax and fish on the dock were our favorite parts! The owner is kind and responsive; another bonus. I would definitely recommend renting this house- you will be very happy you did!

Close to everything : cascades, Anacortes, Bellingham, Sedro-Woolley, Vancouver. House comfortable and deck and dock relaxing. easy to use BBQ. Make sure to unplug the coffee maker it does not turn itself off. Would stay again and highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at this home. The kids loved having access to the paddle board and canoe. We enjoyed meals on the deck and the fire pit at night. It was very quiet and the lake was calm. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Home on the Lake
Perfect place to stay when visiting the Skagit Valley for the Tulip Festival with friends. It's also a short drive to the ocean and ferries. This home has an open floor plan with three good size bedrooms and two bathrooms. Clean and well-decorated with a peaceful lake view. Highly recommend.

Nice home on Clear Lake for a family or friends getaway. Fairly secluded yet not far from anything. The house was very clean and surprisingly open with a great room feel. Hosts are great and check in is easy.

Great place for family
This was a wonderful place for a visit with grandchildren. Heron House was very clean, comfortable and well equipped, as well as a perfect lakefront location! I will definitely plan to stay at Heron House again for my annual “Camp Grandma” visits.

Functional house with gorgeous backyard. We had a lovely time there. The lake was treated with herbicide the day we arrived, so no swimming for a bit. This is likely a rare occurrence, though it may be one that is scheduled in advance - which would've been nice to know. Perhaps contact the property ahead of time if being in the lake is important to you. For those who like cooking, the kitchen could use a few additional items. As is, there is no saucepan lid and the place could use another, larger cutting board.

We've stayed at lots of VRBO's and this one was great. Best feature is the backyard lawn with dock. Our boys really liked taking the canoe out on the lake. We didn't get a chance to use the fire pit, but that would have been nice, too. Inside the house was spacious with modern appointments. The pictures on the site are a good representation.

Relaxing and Peaceful
Heron House is special. It is quiet and you can hear nature all around. The property is exactly like the pictures and so welcoming. Comfortable and everything you need for a restful get away. My husband even tried his hand at fishing off the dock! There is a park down the way (walking distance) which was very fun for our granddaughter. We will definitely be back when the weather is warming to take in more of the lake activities.
