If you want to experience some close by localities, try Dispilio and Maniakoi. Head 70 kilometres to the northwest from Servia-Velventos and you'll discover Dispilio. That said, Maniakoi is 75 kilometres to the northwest. Hotels in Dispilio include the Villa Del Lago and Hotel Anastassiou. The Hotel Nostos and Esperos Palace are some of the better ones in Maniakoi.

The hotel is located on a picturesque hill a short drive away from the Aigai museum and archeological site. The estate is also a vineyard and you can taste the fine wines they produce. This is a family-run business and the owners manage the hotel and live onsite. Our hosts were very accommodating and ever so friendly. My wife and I were very satisfied with our stay and would readily return.
