Hotel was under renovation. There are no place to work outside the hotel room. And almost no food option. This hotel seems to be mainly used for tourist buses ….lobby and elevators are very chaotic in the morning and evening.

The hotel is under complete renovation, which was not in the Expedia description. The company decided to keep rooms open during this time. Construction noises—loud—as well as a dirty towel bc wadded up in a corner and peeling floor in the bathroom—forced a room change. The restaurant was closed for renovations, which was not signaled in the Expedia description. The overall tone of the experience was, Stay out of our way while we do this renovation. Elevators covered in paper top to bottom, walls half-finished.

The property is under renovation, and it seems that the hotel is doing it on the back of the guests. The room was clean and organized but the hallways are in terrible shape - carpets and wall appeared dirty and the whole property had a run down feel. Not sure how this place is still carrying a three star hotel rating.

Lots of construction going on in the hotel. Might be nice to have one elevator reserved for guests and not papered for construction. Hallway carpets stained. 21 euros for overnight parking is a bit too high as well. If you need a place close to the airport, it’s fine. If not, look elsewhere.

Disappointing stay. I was expecting more from Novotel. First, to be aware that parking is available but at EXTRA COST ( 21 CHF if car is parked in front of hotel and 30 CHF if parked in the garage). This is not stated when booking the room. Also extra 3.5 CHF/ adult city tax. Also I was asked for my credit card details just in case damage was made to the room (I found this odd as no hotel asked for this before). We've booked a room for 2 adults & 2 kids and we got 1 double bed and one sofa bed which was very very uncomfortable. We could feel every matrass spring every time we turned. TV was not working. Old and dirty carpet. The only positive thing is that hotel is fairly close to Zurich. Otherwise, I have nothing good to say.
