We (family of 4, 2 adults, 2 teenagers) stayed here Dec 22-29; overall very safe, quiet, and staff were friendly and helpful. Location is perfect and very close to 7 mile beach. the grounds are very clean; As it just opened there were a few things that could be improved;
-No towels by pool, need to use your shower towels;
-There was no safe in the rooms;
-There were no vending machines for snacks or toiletries and on site cafe closes at 4pm,
-In the rooms there was no coffee/tea- while they did have coffee makers/kettle in the room, short stay guests would not go and purchase coffee filters and coffee for such a short stay; tea would also be an easy offering
-There are no basic kitchen/cooking items available such as salt, pepper, sugar;
-Elevators broke 3 time during our stay; they did have it repaired quickly but still a minor inconvenience as we were on the 3rd floor.
-Upon arrival, the smoke detectors in our room were malfunctioning requiring maintenance
-There were no tvs in bedrooms, just one in the main living space but there are outlets on the bedroom walls to accommodate this so it looks like this was not ready for occupancy;
-There were no mugs in. Our unit, so even if we had purchased coffee and tea, there was no way to consume it;
-we did not pay extra for housekeeping and so no garbage was removed all week; a bit of a hygiene issue; we were also told we had to speak with management about getting new towels as we did not have the housekeeping service
