My only requirements from a hotel/motel, until last night, were that it be clean, safe and quiet. Align satisfied those details in spades. However, after last night, I need to add the ability to control light from the outside, privacy and a comfortable bed to the list. The rooms are a single room with a bath so tiny, the sink for handwashing is in the bedroom. Which is fine. However, the only covering over the window is a sheer cellular shade that left the bottom 3 or 4" inches of the wondow uncovered. There are no drapes. The exterior is very well lit, and so, the interior was equally illuminated. Your best chance for privacy is to leave the lights off. I'm not sure how to explain the bed, as, initially it presents as firm and comfortable but, it proved itself as very uncomfortable as the night went on.

Convenient Hotel
The hotel was very convenient to Quechee Gorge and the room was very nice and very clean but the bed was awful--it was much too hard and I could not sleep. Plus the sliding barn door style bathroom door was ridiculous--no privacy and the translucent panes let way too much light into the room when someone was in the bathroom in the middle of the night. But the staff was wonderful and very helpful.

The welcome and customer service was excellent. The room was clean, spacious, the window shade really helped with the sun and darkening the room. Looking forward to another stay Would highly recommend.
