Adorable Mountain Getaway

Secluded cabin located in a private, gated subdivision. The cabin sits on Musick Creek with two decks that roll down to the creek. The view is the creek and the woods and is very private.

Walking distance to Restaurants and shops. Listen to the creek from inside and out. Decorated to preserve the quaint cabin feeling while providing the latest in amenities. This is a real cabin that was originally built in the 1940's and remodeled in 2008. Interior is all knotty pine with maple wood floors in the living room, loft and bedrooms, tile in the kitchen and laundry room, and a rock fireplace.

Approximately 1 mile to Shaver Lake. Approx. 20 min. to China Peak Ski Resort.

Ski trip
Got there at approximately 8:30 Friday night we had no water available. It had to be turned on in the dark. We had no heat from the floor furnace as the propane tank was completely empty just felt as though it shouldā€™ve been better prepared when your guests come in as the host does not know when the actual arrival time is for the guest. The cleanliness of the house was not great, since the guest is paying a cleaning fee, it should be cleaned properly as far as pots pans kitchen, utensils, stocking that was wonderful. Everything was there that we needed. Great neighborhood easy access plenty of firewood.

This cabin is gorgeous. Very well done, the decor is perfect. I was a little stressed at first to learn that we needed to take our trash home, the listing indicates we need to take our trash "out" but isn't clear that there isn't trash service at all for this neighborhood. Our car was packed getting there. However, it all worked out.

My wife's family has cabins nearby. We needed our own space as my mother was with us. Perfect cabin with bedroom and bath downstairs for my mom and upstairs for my wife and I. Great location. Cozy, well done cabin for the space and layout. Having firewood provided was great.

Perfect little cabin
I really enjoyed my stay at the cabin. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe, especially in the gated community. The owners provided lots of firewood so I was able to enjoy a warm fire in the beautiful fireplace. It was very comfortable and just what I needed to recharge before the holidays.

This was a truly terrific home away from home experience for us. The host provided everything we needed and the home was well taken care of. We loved the location close to the lake, the way the house was nestled inside of huge granite boulders, and especially the tranquil spot to enjoy the stream out back with coffee or a meal. We loved all the native plants on the property. It was quiet and private -- we didn't even really see any other neighbors while there for the week. It worked really nicely for us too because there was plenty of space for two teenage boys to have their own floor of the home. It was just lovely! Thank you to the hosts for sharing your home with us!

Our family has stayed at this cabin several times in the past, but hadn't been there since 2016. Hadn't changed at all. Great time and great memories! Sad to see the devastation from the fire in the vacinity, but not at the cabin. Amazing job by fire crews to save the town!
