Absolutely horrible!!!
The stay was horrible. I was in the middle of the woods with no phone service (which I knew I wouldn’t have), but the hotel failed to mention all the phones were down due to a storm that hit over 2 weeks ago. They should have told me that when I checked in because I would have left the hotel right away. To top it off the entire hotel lost water for multiple hours wasting guests entire day. When brought up to the front desk they said they would call me back. I never heard. Ack from anyone. Mariah the manager is very passive aggressive. Save yourself the headache and stay elsewhere. It’s honestly disgusting. The rooms smell like black mold. My allergies from the mold scent were horrible. Quality wins over quantity every time. The pools were over crowded. If you plan on using the basketball court you may as well find one at a park down the street. The staff is rude, the place is dirty and over crowded, and you have to drive a mile or more from your room to get to the pool. Don’t even get me started on the internet debacle. Stay far away from this hotel or villa or whatever they care to call this place. Go somewhere clean and actually enjoy yourself.

This place is very different from a traditional hotel, so it's important that travelers know what to expect. The first time my wife and I stayed here we just randomly picked the place because of the location expecting it to be like any other hotel, but it's more so a resort and the place is really spread out with many different areas with accommodations that are vastly different depending on where you are. We stay in the Ridgetop area and really like it because it's quiet and we love the screened in porch (which other parts of the resort don't have). One major downside to this resort is that the wifi service is not very good and we kept having to log back on as service would drop, and cell service in the area is pretty bad so the GPS on my car had trouble and other things. Finally, the check in process is annoying because you essentially have to check in twice, once like a traditional check in and then again to get or activate (if you already have them) your Club Wyndham wristbands - which act as your room key. During the wristband phase someone tries to rope you into a time share presentation, and it's VERY annoying. However, in the big picture the villas where you stay are enormous compared to a typical hotel room (it's like having an entire condo or townhome) and having so much space for such a reasonable price makes putting up with the hassles worth it to us.

The front desk was terrible. There’s actually 2 areas as they’re try to sell you tours and, ultimately, time shares. The $250 deposit is absurd. Management was totally unresponsive. It’s a shame as the Villa was VERY nice.

Everything was great except the coffee maker was not working and it took 3 and a half hours to get a replacement. 6:00 am notified staff replacement came at 9:30 after two more calls.
