See and hear the crashing waves and the call of seagulls at Rose & Fern's Delightful Seaside Picnic! You will want to put on your flip flops, grab a beach towel and head a few short steps to the Lake or up the north pier to the lighthouse! And it is only a short walk to the riverfront and downtown where you will find many wonderful restaurants, pubs, cafes, and places to shop.
This newly renovated home with a modern, well appointed kitchen boasting a 6 burner gas cooktop and open concept living area is spacious and great for entertaining with a large dining table (seats 8) and adjacent bar (seats 4). The living room features local art, mid-century modern furnishings, and a linear fireplace that provides a warm atmosphere. A cozy den in the back of the house has a large TV, a fold out queen size sleeper sofa, and a desk for writing or checking in on your laptop. A half bath on the main floor saves you from having to run upstairs to freshen up.
Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The master bedroom features a king size bed, 2 sizable closets, and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed, views of Lake Michigan, a closet plus an additional storage bay, and a bench. Bedroom 3 has a full size bed, closet, and additional recessed shelving. Each bedroom has 2 bedside tables with USB charging stations. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a hall bath with a tub/shower combo.
Rose & Fern invite you to take it outside as well... with a picnic table on the back deck and a gas grill below. Take advantage of nice summer days by using the bicycles stored in the basement/laundry room... walk or ride a bicycle to the disc golf course or pickleball court and then to BLAST ice cream for an afternoon treat... and in the evening build a fire in one of the fire rings provided on the beach. If it happens to be a Thursday during the summer months, wander over to City Green for outdoor music and food trucks. Sheboygan encourages its residents and visitors to enjoy the outdoors; it is very walkable and bicycle friendly!
Come see for yourself!
