We loved this place. Gorgeous views of the bay, delightful staff and fellow guests, elegant holiday atmosphere. The room is spacious and stylish; the breakfast option is really good. Local organic farms abound, and the train ride into Shimabara is like a step back in time. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, and a convenient city bus goes to the historic volcano site, which is very compelling and informative. An hourly ferry goes to Kumamoto for connection with high speed trains. Not to be missed.

とにかく、スタッフの皆さんが親切でした！ 忘れ物したら、すぐに連絡下さったり、駅まで送迎してくれたり、めちゃくちゃ親切でした。 朝から掃除を熱心にされていました。 修学旅行や大会に出場する学生さんが、たくさんいました。 露天風呂付き客室にしましたが、6月なのに海風が冷たくて寒くて、とても入れなかった。 潮風が爽やかで、潮でベタつくとかがない事に驚いた！そして、ホテルの水の美味しいこと。近くのイオンで買った水より、ホテルの蛇口から出る水の方が美味しいなんて、初めてでした！地元の人によると、島原は、湧き水が出る土地で水が美味しくて、有名だそう。 またぜひこのホテルに来たいと思いました！
