Very enjoyable stay
It was actually my daughter that I booked for. The booking process was easy, the hotel were happy to confirm details and very helpful. My daughter loved her 'superior room' with a river view and had a very pleasant stay, The staff were very nice, the breakfast was standard but good and she would definitely stay again if it were in a similar room.

Epsilon for breakfast
Our stay was excellent... apart from breakfast, which was dire. Welcome and staff were friendly and helpful. Bedroom was large and well appointed, with comfy king bed with fine quality bedlinen. Bath towels were rather narrow in the transatlantic model, but adequate. Toiletries were fine, though no body lotion. Position of hotel was brilliant - close to the city centre and cathedral and castle. BUT breakfast was awful. "Orange juice" (labelled as such) was actually diluted oversweet orange squash - yuck! Fresh fruit was only water melon and pineapple, both is short supply. No granola. Bread was cheap and unpleasant. Scrambled eggs cold and pale and tasteless. Croissants were doughy. Plates supplied for cooked breakfast were side plate size... an unsubtle attempt at portion control. A lady at the next table said that quantities over the previous two days had been worse still. Come on Marriott! You can do better than this!! No wonder the hotel is called "delta". I would grade the breakfast epsilon.
