This was a last minute trip but one of the best experiences in a hotel ever. The location is awesome. The staff are really - really - helpful and caring. The accommodation is excellent and the food is great. This is how hotels used to be. Totally hands on management. Comfortable rooms. Amenities to enjoy. And a great location. Breakfast has variety and wonderful flavours - fantastic FRESH fruit. This is a 5 * experience because of the staff. Definitely going back. I have never experienced this level of service at any hotel in many years.

Very nice Hotel
The Hotel is very well presented in the reception and restaurant area. The rooms and furnishings are a bit dated and could do with a bit of modernising. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff and the owners are all very nice people and very helpful. I would stay here again and would recommend it.

A very outdated hotel, the room was good in size but that was only real good point. The WATER BED, yes I did say water bed, was awful !! I hardly slept at all 1st night & ended up sleeping on the floor !! it wasnt even full of water & you just rolled around & into each other. The TV didn't work & neither did the wifi for most of the 2 nights. Breakfast was poor to say the least. The hotel had hardly any staff & never anyone on check so if you wanted anything you had to walk around a find someone. They even ran out of milk at breakfast so black coffees all round ! The only plus point was its location to Assen TT circuit, however next year I'll be staying elsewhere, as there is plenty of other hotels around.

Goeie locatie, prijs/kwaliteit klopt niet
We hadden via hotels.com een kamer voor drie personen geboekt en betaald. In de bevestiging van het hotel bleek dit een tweepersoons kamer te zijn en moesten we bijbetalen voor een extra bed. Dit extra bed had 1 dun laken over de matras met vlekken (bloed?). Het ontbijt was zeer karig. Niet zoals op de foto's op de wand waar van alles op vermeld stond dat er niet was. Er hingen ook wat zielige ballonnetjes in de ontbijtruimte van een feestje dat er ooit was? Zag er treurig uit. Er lijkt te weinig of verkeerde aandacht te zijn voor details. Terwijl er zoveel van te maken is. Zeker op zo'n goede locatie. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding klopt niet. 1 overnachting: €251,- voor 2 volwassenen en kind met karig ontbijt en smerig bed.

The kamer is vies, dode muggen, omrand met bloed, vieze, oude tegels in de badkamer, kalkaanslag, veel stof op de kast, vieze ramen in de lobby, rommelige check-in, restaurant met 1 gerecht, ontbijt wat 7.00 uur zou starten, maar om 7.10 arriveerden de eerste broodjes, langzaam gevolgd door de rest van het ontbijt. Kortom, geen aanrader, zeker niet voor de prijs

Personnel accueillant, chambre et salle de bain spacieuses. Il faisait très chaud pendant cette période (36 degrés) et il n'y avait malheureusement pas de climatisation. En ouvrant la porte fenêtre, aucun air ne circulait mais les divers insectes (araignées, moustiques, mouches, ...) entraient et il faisait très chaud dans la chambre. Petit déjeuner vraiment très bon avec une grande variété de pains et de fruits frais ! Chambre cependant à mon avis beaucoup trop chère pour les prestations reçues...

Duidelijk, dat er na de overgang naar een andere eigenaar, de winterperiode en de Corona-lockdown, er weer routine in de operatie moet komen. Op dinsdag 11.08 een kwalitatief goed verzorgde maaltijd, echter bediening was (nog) niet goed georganiseerd, liep van hot naar her en wist niet (meer) wie wat besteld had. Daarom: besteedt vooral genoeg tijd en aandacht aan het inslijpen van routines binnen het team, kijk ook naar betere taakverdeling. Ontvangst bij receptie door jonge man was wat kort door de bocht: kamers zijn nog niet klaar komt u over een uur maar terug. Dat had gastvrijer en vriendelijker gekund/gemoeten. Accommodatie op begane grond is goed, kan nog veel meer uitgebuit worden. Onze kamer (35) was wel erg warm, badkamer nogal gedateerd. Maar ga eerst aan de slag met het team, dat heeft potentie, voordat je gaat investeren.

Expedia heeft een bevestiging gestuurd waarop ook de prijs incl. Toeristenbelasting is vermeld, echter het hotel hanteert een ander hoger bedrag p.p. per nacht. Heel vreemd. Door de hitte was het op de kamers ‘s-nachts warm. Ontbijt was prima. Vriendelijke mensen van het hotel.

Gedateerd hotel met goede keuken en prettig person
Een gedateerd hotel, badkamer oud, slaapkamer raam bleef niet open staan, was 30 graden. Corona regels bij het ontbijt werden overtreden. Ontbijt aan tafel serveren zou beter zijn. Hotel is net verkocht en wordt nog opgeknapt. De keuken was hier altijd goed en dat is nog zo. Bediening en kok zeer vriendelijk. Hotel heeft zeker potentie maar moet echt verbouwd worden.

hotel vond ik matig, kamers waren oubollig en verouderd airco was er niet ( temperatuur toen wij er waren was plm. 30 graden ) dus raam open maar erg veel last van muggen, geen haardroger aanwezig, om het hotel erg rommelig, tuin was puinhoop, s'avonds niets te beleven, hotel zat dichtna 21.00 uur, ontbijtbuffet was positief. Kom er niet terug.
