Quaint with outstanding staff
The hotel is old fashioned but did have a pod coffee make and plenty of coffee. The hotel was under renovation and the elevator quit working but those were small things. The staff was amazing which made up for anything else that could have happened. We needed a full set of bedding late at night and they provided it, a person in our party had an emergency and couldn’t make it and they cancelled with no fees.

I don’t usually take time to write reviews but for awareness to other tourists, this hotel uses a very potent cleaning agent in their rooms. As soon as we checked into our room, the scent punched me in the face. I tried my best to defuse it on my own by running the shower, sink and flushing the toilet. It didn’t help. I didn’t want to bother the front desk staff because we stayed on a busy weekend and they were already slammed. The scent was so strong it triggered a massive migraine and we ended up having to check out in the middle of the night. Again, the staff and manager were amazing. The owner? Pretty much said too bad and it was my own fault - no discount or credit given. If you have allergies, asthma, etc. I would reconsider staying at The Copper Queen.

This hotel management has absolutely no regard for the customers. The room next to ours was extremely disruptive for the entire evening. Not the normal hearing people talk but excessive screaming in all hours of the night. Attempts to reach any staff member were ignored the entire evening. The next morning the front desk worker said they would call us back with details and a compensation. No one ever called back and once I finally got a hold of someone they relayed the message that nothing would be done to compensate us. The management is horrible and unfortunately we will never be returning.

We went there for our anniversary and at first on expedia it looks great. We get there and we are told tge restaurant in hotel will have breakfast. Bar maybe open till 9, 10, or 2 and this is on a Friday night. We are given a list of fines that can happen ranging from $50 to over $500 for equipment damage or policy violations. Then we are told our floor is under renovation but nothing what said on their site about renovation or fines. We put our bags in our roo and go out. We come back and the elevator is broke and never fixed. We were told it would fixed the next day but was not. I am a combat veteran with injuries from my tours. Walking up and down the steps cause me great pain and we are staying on the 3rd floor. Our getaway weekend after a 4 hour drive is now ruined because they cannot properly maintain their elevator and I have to rely on my cane to get around because they are not handicap friendly. Next morning go to breakfast and their restaurant is not opening up on time and the way they talk to customers makes you feel like your being an inconvenience because you are hungry. The price is way to expensive for what you get. I do not recommend them or would not we go back. There is more stuff I could complain about but then I would be putting more energy into the hotel then the owners. 3 stars is being nice.

Way over priced, water at bathroom sink didn't work, they should have said that there was a remodel in progress, we were on the 3rd floor in the "nicest" room, a fight broke out at 3:00 AM in the pool area. The restaurant has a limited menu and 2 of the items on the menu were not available , an hour wait because the restaurant was short staffed. We wouldn't stay there again if it was free.

Growing up in Bisbee and working at the Copper Queen in High School, I was excited to stay as a guest. Was a huge disappointment. Front desk was mostly unattended, roaches in my room, bar and restaurant were never open. Place needed a good cleaning.

I liked the old hotel and the nostalgia. But the property is looking quite run down and the carpets are filthy and not vacuumed. I good scrubbing would go a long way to improve the first impression when you walk into the lobby.

Not worth $400 a night! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! The drunk loud people in the hallway were the only disturbing things in the hotel not the ghosts!!
