Room was nicely decorated and bed was comfortable. Polite staff but room service was overly complicated. The room was very hot and the sound proofing was poor - I could hear doors slamming til the early hours as the fire doors were very noisy when closed.

We unfortunately didn’t have the best of stays due to the ongoing building work, but the way the management listened and responded to our problem was commendable and we look forward to returning in July . A very well run hotel, with the upgrades completed will be top of the league.

Very disappointed with the check in reception staff. Couldn’t get rid of us quick enough. Absolutely no information given on facilities available bearing in mind the hotel is going through a major bar and restaurant upgrade. No check out info. Literally threw us our room key. Hotel is lovely though. New bar is great, and rooms comfortable. The only downside is no air conditioning in the rooms just a fan.

Avoid!!
Basically it’s a building site. Complete with hammering, banging and saws running all day. Even at 8pm whilst trying to have dinner. When I suggested it wasn’t a great experience to be paying £200 per night for, I was completely dismissed. Breakfast was like a makeshift camp. And all shampoos and sodas were in single use plastic.

Clean, modern hotel, but room too warm for me.
The hotel and room were very well appointed, everything felt new. I had a comfortable bed and a spacious room. I was there on a warm evening in May and my room was too warm for a comfortable night's sleep. Use of the fan and opening the window helped a little, but the absence of aircon was a problem for me. My other dislikes were the fixed head shower and a long walk to my room due to building works.
