Cabin stay
The gas grill didn't get above 275, so cooking was difficult. The burners on the stove are all on angles. The front door handle fell apart while leaving one day and I couldn't find a Allen wrench to fix it. Overall the cabin is in useable shape

What we expected
Great vacation. We loved the outside furniture. It was well furnished with what we needed. Only negative things were the bathroom sink drained poorly and I caught no fish (which could have been me😁). Overall we really liked this location!!

This house has a private feel, but is still located close to great restaurants and shopping. The view is unbeatable and the house is cozy. We hope to be able to return to the house one day!!

The river makes it worth it
The first downfall of this property is that you cannot just head straight there as you do with so many other rentals. You first have to stop by the office to pick up keys. Then you can head into the cabin. When you enter it will seem like it was left untouched since last ski season, clean enough but still dingy with uncomfortable beds. The bathroom has been remodeled somewhat recently but it isn’t the easiest to move around in. The main door does not stay shut unless you lock it so while you’re out enjoying the river you may want to double check that the door is shut. My tip to you is to spend as much time outside as you can. You are pretty close to the neighbors and not nearly as secluded as it appears in the photos but man the views of the mountains over the river will make you want to spend your days and nights relaxing in one of the many outdoor seating options provided.

Early Fall on the Blue River
The cabin was perfect. Fishing on the Blue was wonderful. Bull Moose even happened to cross the river during our fishing. A special thanks goes out to the management group since we were there when there happened to be a wildfire at the top of the mountain. There was a chance we would have to evacuate. The management group had a condo in town that we could have used if the homes on the mountain had to evacuate. In the end all homes were spared by the fire.

Awesome Place with Amazing Views
The house was very comfortable for our family of 3. The location is great, easy to get to town, but feels secluded. The river and mountain views are unbeatable. There is lot's to do outdoors at the house, which made is easy to wind down and relax and just enjoy the fresh mountain air. For times when you need to be indoors, the new 65" TV was amazing. We will definetly be back for another stay!

The charming cabin right next to the Blue River is the perfect fall getaway! The view from the front porch never gets old. Peaceful location and it feels like you are out away from everything even though you are still close to town. We would absolutely stay here again!

The cabin is a great place to unwind and sit by the river. Or if the weather’s bad, you can make a fire, get cozy on the couch, and watch something on cable on the flat screen tv!

A sweet cabin in the woods....
We really enjoyed our stay. The property was quiet and peaceful but still close enough to stores and things to do. We were able to have day trips to Rocky Mountains, Vail, Breckinridge, and even Black Hawk a little Casino town. Denver is a short trip also. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable.... we never got to see any wildlife like other guest experience which was so disappointing. My mornings were awesome on the deck with coffee listening to the babbling stream in the backyard. The negatives we had were... I thought the place could use a deep cleaning. It was dusty and the windows were dirty. The bathroom needs a good scrubbing. I didn’t care for the master bedroom being on the loft with the bathroom downstairs. Hard at night to go to bathroom especially with floors creaking and noisy. The outside area could use some care.... yard needed tending to and there were ant piles around. Over all we had a good experience and enjoyed our stay there. The property managers were good to work with and easy to get in touch with.

Beautiful view
The resort group was very easy to work with and great communication. Overall great stay- the cabin could use a deep cleaning. We found leaves in one of the beds after pulling the sheets back, dust on the floor out of the main walkways and counters in the bathroom needed to be washed better. There was also a piece of glass (quarter size) in one of the pans in the cupboard. I couldn’t find the broken dish so it must have been from an earlier stay. There is no a/c but we were very comfortable during our 4 night stay in late August. Open the doors in the morning (40’s) and evenings (60’s) then close everything up during the day to keep the heat out (low 80’s). Lots of fans in the cabin to help with air flow. The beds were very comfortable, cabin is nicely decorated. The lights on the deck are great for ambiance and tiki torches add so much charm! The yard is to be desired...mostly dirt and pine cones. The river was shallow during our stay but rushing quite fast over the rocks which made such a great sound all day and night. There are two balconies, one off of each bedroom, but they aren’t used. The sliding doors have beds in front of them and the windows are quite dirty...balconies are covered in bird poop. There is a seating area on the opposite side of the house as the main deck, but this area is very neglected and overgrown. Overall we enjoyed the stay and memories made. The loft and open main floor worked well for our family (3 kids). There is a pull out couch if you need additional bed space. It was nice to be close to town, but the location is not secluded and you can easily see your neighbors. If your looking to be out in the woods, this would not be the place for you. If you want a woodsy feel close to ammenities, this is a good fit.

A little misleading !
The cabin was ok, the pictures led me to believe it was going to be in a more remote location, rented this cabin in hopes of seeing wildlife and being tranquil, we were disappointed ☹️ n that respect, the people we encountered were awesome, nothing against them, it was to busy for what we were looking for, probably won’t return! The state of Colorado is beautiful and I will be back, it will be in a different location and way more research!!!

Lovely quiet spot on the river
Generally we avoid renting A-frames but this one is larger. Tall people will have a problem with the slant ceiling over the toilet. It's fine for others. The location is perfect -- close to town but so peaceful and feels far away. It's not secluded as the listing says. There is one house quite close but it appeared to be empty except the first day we were there. Other homes are near enough to hear conversations but not make out words. It feels mostly secluded though. The river flows fast and is soothing, nature's music. The owners thought of many small things, like bug spray. The wood for stove inside or fire pit outside isn't seasoned so it smokes a lot until it catches fully. The twin beds were too mushy for me, so I slept upstairs on the firmer king. The outside lights for night are great. It's a lovely property.
