The Jewel Box, so named for the treasure she is both inside and out, not only offers a scenic view out every window, but little luxuries and all the comforts of home. Think cozy, absolute comfort amidst the grandeur of the Colorado Rockies.

1st Level:

A comfy swivel arm chair with matching ottoman sit directly opposite a wood burning stove, with serene Eastern views of the national forest.
Step outside to the hot tub just a few steps away.
NOTE - While the Primary Bedroom Ensuite encompasses the entire 1st level of the cabin, there is no bedroom door.
2nd Level:
Main Living Area with all the fixin's-
Full Kitchen is equipped with pretty much everything you might need, including plenty of dishes, pots/pans, spices, cooking oil, as well as some dry goods and condiments in the frig (please replace what you use)
Dining table with seating for 6.
The Great Room includes a 43" smart TV that uses wifi, equipped with Amazon Prime and Netflix, two sofas (one of which is a queen sleeper) and oh-so-comfy wing back chair and ottoman with arguably the best views of the place
Tucked on the far side of the kitchen is a 3/4 bath, which serves as the bathroom for guests sleeping up in Fort Jewel
3rd Level:
Fort Jewel - tucked into the eaves of the cabin, it's the fun, cozy and even romantic.
One Full and one Twin bed, each with a twinge of privacy
Each bed has its own nightstand and views of the great outdoors

Please note that the Jewel Box is tucked alongside the National Forest and, as such, cell service can be a challenge with some providers.

HOT TUB FEE
There is a nightly fee of $20 for use of the hot tub - this helps to offset the cost to heat the tub and chemicals needed to balance the water. (This is in addition to the nightly rate.)
PET POLICY
Your canine four-legged family member is welcome to join you if they are:
1. Very well behaved, including non-destructive and quiet
2. Completely potty trained
1st dog = $250
2nd dog = $200 - PLEASE ADVISE AT TIME OF BOOKING
Unfortunately, No Cats Allowed
Be aware that wildlife can and does roam freely. To date, I have personally seen everything from chipmunks to bobcats on property. Please be careful
USE DESIGNATED DOG BLANKETS for any lounging or cuddling on the furniture.
WIPE wet/dirty paws WITH DESIGNATED DOG TOWELS
PICK UP after your pet and dispose of in the trash can (if they go in the driveway or somewhere where someone could step in it)
NO CHILD-PROOFING HAS BEEN DONE
Parents should be aware that there are multiple open stairways and no child proofing has been done.
Unfortunately, the minimal storage space available precludes the cabin from providing toys or other amenities for kids.
GOOD NEIGHBOR GUIDELINES AND COUNTY RULES
Summit County has issued guidelines that must be adhered to by all Guests and Hosts. Violation of these guidelines can result in fines and/or revocation of the license required for me to host guests. The Good Neighbor Guidelines are included in their entirety in the House Manual.
