This is a heritage building in a beautiful part of the city- near the Singapore Botanical gardens and Orchard Road. Great Service overall, beautiful design, and very helpful staff. Be aware though, that they charge for wifi and that the bathroom tub can be extremely slippery. It has a step up and is all marble.

Nice hotel but front desk were non responding.
It’s a nice hotel. Most staff were friendly. Service from front desk we so so. I requested for a room with bath tub and were not given and were not told that it’s not available. They said they will get back to me the next day but no one did. Was very disappointed to spend my 30th anniversary back to the place I got married with this kind of no response.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The remodeled rooms were much brighter and clean looking. I liked the numerous outlets specially the pull out of the desk that had a contact phone charger. An even more efficient and convenient amenity were the controls of the lights and curtains on both sides of the bed. Room cleaning was efficient. Hotel is conveniently located near Orchard with bus stops and the TEK MRT statin just a few hundred meters away. There’s even a Tanglin Mall with a convenience supermarket, shops and restaurants. Breakfast buffet was adequate with a wide variety of choices. The one big negative is the small bathroom. The bath tub shower enclosure was very high. This presents a slipping hazard specially for older people not to mention the difficulty of entering the tub if one has joint pains. There was only one handle bar for support. The next best thing was the glass enclosure which did not provide an adequate grip.
