It feels a little dated. I am not sure if we just got unlucky because we booked pretty late, but it was rather expensive for what it offered. Pool floor looked patchy (dirty?) Lovely place being run into the ground.
Worst shower experience ever. Water was so restricted that it was difficult to get your hair wet or rinse the soap out afterwards. Also, the fitted sheet was 3" narrower than the bed and so came off as soon as you slept on it. No half-n-half and no tea in the breakfast area. Cheap selfishness at its best. It's a shame because it is a lovely place. Seems like the place was lovingly built by someone who wanted to provide the best hunting/fishing lodge experience they could, but was then sold to a skinflint corporate management company that is trying to milk every penny out of it. Very sad.
