Please note: The patio is accessed by steep stone steps.. This stone built character cottage is just a short walk from the centre of Grassington set in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. As such, it is well placed for walking, touring or cycling direct from the door. Grassington is a lovely village with a selection of individual country shops, pubs and restaurants catering for both pub grub and fine dining tastes. In summer the village plays host to the Grassington Arts Festival with famous musicians, comedians and presenters appearing, and in winter it holds the Dickensian Festival to really get you into the spirit of Christmas.
Just a short drive from the bustling market town of Skipton, known as the ’Gateway to the Dales’ where you will find a wide sweeping, cobbled high street with a Norman castle standing proudly at its head. Skipton has a large selection of shops, pubs and restaurants together with canal trips, golf course, indoor swimming pool, fantastic play park and tree tops walks. Alternatively, the genteel spa town of Harrogate is half an hour’s drive and offers both high street and high end shopping. Not to be missed is afternoon tea at the renowned Betty’s Tea Room. The National Trust properties of Studley Royal and Fountains Abbey are a short drive and make for a full day out. After all of this, relax and kick back in front of a roaring open fire.
