This an absolutely beautiful hotel. Everything is wonderful from the fantastic service to the amenities. Our apartment was lovely. Super clean and smelled amazing. Only downside is there isn’t a microwave in the kitchen. Not a huge issue to go and use the communal one, but it feels weird having a full kitchen and no microwave. I love that each room has a washer and dryer. Was super convenient as this was our last stop on a month long trip. Our dryer wasn’t working properly however and it kept stopping in the middle of a cycle. Location is pretty good. Super close to the 7th st metro station and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby including a great whole foods. It’s not a super safe area, though. Totally fine in the day but at night it felt a little scary to be out. All in all I’d definitely come back.

Cute hotel with a lot of potential. Loft style rooms in a century old building. Really loved the high ceilings and architectural details. Our room was on the 14th floor, so we had a pretty view with lots of sunlight. Only a few issues. Parking was inconvenient and the floors of our room could have been cleaner. I also found it really strange that the bed felt like it was in the kitchen. The room had a full kitchen with a toaster AND a tea kettle, but no microwave?? There’s plenty of room on the counter for one. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Definitely a great value and option for DTLA.

With prices that can go down to about $120, the units at Sonder are guaranteed to appease those who prefer a home away from home, with a kitchen and a washing machine all in the same room. Wi-Fi is reliable for gaming, and nearby transit stops serve nearly all of Los Angeles: To Hollywood, Long Beach and and Santa Monica from the subway at 7th Street/Metro Center station, to Beverly Hills and Century City via route #4, to red light Figueroa on #81, and CitySightseeing buses nearby. Whole Foods Market, The Bloc and Fig 7th malls and other artisanal shops are within walking distance for a quick shopping run.

Although I never got to stay here this place is sketch! My entry to USA was denied so unfortunately I couldn’t stay here I wasn’t upset about it and didn’t second guess anything until 5 days later I’m being charged multiple different charges and I had to protest to even get answers as I was never there. They said I had every damage fee in the book, a pet fee a smoke fee and some dirty urine fee idk. I’m a cute lady why tf would any of that be associated with my name. Then I thought about it more if they weren’t lying then that means a random strange mysterious person entered my unit and did this? What if I truly was there what would happen to me I’m a solo female traveller from Canada! Anyway after two hours on the phone I got justice and my name was cleared I wished I’d get a refund tho. Idk if they only do this to immigrants outside the country because I read reviews heavy before I book so watch out.

The room was lovely. The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette was very helpful. But, the AC roared to the point that the first time it kicked on I wondered if a helicopter was landing outside. It is extremely noisy...113 decibels. Also, the neighborhood is a nightmare. The street that the hotel is actually on is completely closed, the jackhammer crew began at 7am every day of my stay, I heard gunshots 4 times, one of them hitting the building above my window as my SO was looking outside, the street plates covering the resurfacing are not secured so every time a vehicle drives over them it sounds like you're being bombed. Do not expect restful sleep if you stay here. Also, it's very important to know that THERE IS NO ON-SITE PARKING, so plan on adding at least $45 a day to your stay. Orbitz buried that bit of info deep in the description. I'd love to recommend this hotel, but I really can't. It's not worth the price.

Fairly dubious conditions outside the property. The main street out front is under construction and the parking was expensive and iffy. But….once you are inside the staff are friendly, it’s very clean, and the suite we had was awesome. Full kitchen, huge bathroom, tons of closet space. The bed is in its own room and the couch sleeper had nice clean linens. Would look forward to coming back when the road construction is over and maybe if the parking situation gets better. Great price for the room.

It is all electronic on pads - checking in, luggage room and our room. The pads didn’t work for any of them several times. You have to text someone to get assistance. It didn’t take very long to get someone to help though. Sometimes the pads to get in the hotel didn’t work. More instruction would have been helpful. The gym was fine but there was no window at all and I didn’t feel safe all the time. One of their workers came in and stayed in the bathroom of the gym for 20 minutes and it felt strange. I am probably overly worried about safety in spaces like that but I would have felt much better with at least a window in the doorway. I enjoyed the kitchenette and the laundry in room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There is only a roku tv so only streaming. The major issue was that construction on the street immediately next to the hotel started at 5:45 AM every single morning of our weeklong stay except for one day. We ran a noisemaker but whoa. That was not peaceful. Of course not the hotel’s fault but it’s a lot of money to stay there and they should warn people it’s that early. I had seen a review about the noise and requested a higher floor when booking but we were put on the second floor.

Don’t book this hotel. Be aware.
1.There is no lock for bathroom. It’s really bad to stay as a group of family without the lock. Literally my kids never took bath because of this poor service. 2.No parking facility in the premises. Roads are blocked because of construction. So literally carried so many luggage’s from the hotel to the outside parking area. No other cart provided for this service. Even we requested to open the back gate, which is accessible to the outside parking area, but they refused for the security purposes.Really very bad service never seen anywhere. 3.Lifts are limited. It was engaged all the mornings, so walked down the steps. Worst Experience. I couldn’t able to finish all my pre-planned programs because of the above mentioned problems.I booked this hotel for compute services for all my places to reduce the traffic time. But within the hotel, it took all my traffic time. I would have booked outside of the city, which would have save my money. No value for the money. Security and room service only good at this hotel.
