We thoroughly enjoy our stay here at Lorelei and were grateful they found a way to extend our stay even though they were sold out as we loved it so much. Great staff, very clean and attended to, great location and absolute magnificent view! Wonderful breakfast and loved our meal in the Michelin restaurant on site. Pricy but very top notch! We hope to return someday and highly recommend. Thank you Lorelei Londres!

This is a wonderful property with great views of the Sorrento coast and Mt Vesuvius. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to town central you very easy access to all the restaurants and shops, yet a quiet escape from all the bustle of town when you want it. It has a really great Michelin-star restaurant and the breakfast every morning is wonderful. On nice days you can sit outside and enjoy the weather, the views and the vibes. It has a great bar outside as well and many people go there for the sunset drinks and views. We stayed in Sorrento as our base and just took ferry day trips to the rest of the Amalfi Coast and Capri. Some people would want to stay for a few nights at each place but we didn’t want to lug our suitcases around - it was the perfect move for us. Sorrento has so many dining options and some of the best gelato in alll of Italy.

Hotel was beautiful and we didn’t have a chance to used swim area ass it was cooler. No pool but there was a ladder into the ocean but looked rocky. Hot tub available for use with a reservation.

We reserved a suite for 5 nights at this 5 star hotel which I'm really not sure haw it's rated as 5 stars When I made the reservation i paid for seaview suit and i asked for a car ride from Rome and agreed to pay 500 euro extra for the ride, to start with the car was supposed arrive at 1:00 P.M We waited for the car and no one showed up till 2 o'clock i called the hotel and they said the driver is late because of an accident on the way, and i asked the person why he didn't call me or email me his reply that he called the hotel in Rome, I'm not really understanding why they didn't contact me this is just careless towards the gusts We had to wait till 2:30 till they arranged another car since i told them if the car is not coming i will get my own transportation When we arrived to the hotel we were very disappointed at everything and how rude the staff is, no one is even apologizing for what happened We checked in and we go to the room which it should be a suit and Seaview and it was not completely Seaview and it was very small room, when we asked the girl at the front desk to upgrade she told me that all the rooms are same size and if i wanted to get another room i will have to pay extra 300 euro per night or wait till next day to move to another room so we stayed at the same room for the night After that my wife wanted to take a shower and we were just surprised that the shower inside the bathtub which is completely dangerous for anyone trying to jump inside or out after.

Not what it lived up to be
Very disappointed in what was something labeled a 5 star. I know European hotel stars differ significantly from US and other locations, but this was sadly disappointing. The staff were fantastic, the breakfast was very good, the bed was firm and very comfortable but the problems were: - the room never got below 22c (72F) despite a thermostat on the wall that let you reduce temp to 15C but effectively do nothing. My wife went to reception to mention the temp and they said they could adjust from the lobby - after 3 days it never got below 21.3C. - the smell from the bathroom was brutal. Some locations in Europe have a sulfurous smell from the water (algarve region as an example), but here the bathroom smell was rank and the heat only made it worse. It’s like there were no P-Traps in the drains kinda bad. - the furniture is past its prime, while pics paint it as a Greek island light, bright and airy theme, the turquoise furniture was grubby and badly stained. The white walls were scuffed and the white shiny floor tiles chipped. For context we paid around $1800 a night and I’d be disappointed paying half that in Sorrento, Turks and Caicos, Cayman Islands or anywhere else based on AC and bathroom alone.

The staff were excellent and attentive. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with incredible views. The room we had had a balcony that overlooked the Gulf of Naples and the hot tubs on the cliff you could reserve for up to 2 hours at a time were a nice surprise.

Wonderful view and the staff was great. Breakfast was a treat each morning. Room was great size especially for Europe. The room was very well lit which is a rarity and the bathroom was also well lit and good size.We could not have been happier with our chose.
