Rooms can be streetside which can mean constant traffic noise. We got one such room and needed our white noise machine to drown it out. Nice place, clean, and calm. Decent location with shopping nearby. Breakfast was low quality. Biggest problem by far that we had is that THERE WAS NO CLEANING INCLUDED if your stay is less than 7 days. Even if I got this wrong and it was 5, customers should always be able to get your room cleaned. In this case, there simply is no cleaning. Worst part is that we were only notified of this upon arrival. We might not have booked our room (kids and a dog) had we known this in advance! They had no problem charging $25/night for a dog which is surely based on the reasoning of needing to "clean more" but hey, no cleaning at all....but take our money.

A really nice vist
We enjoyed staying at the GMSH. At check in Desmond could not do more to make sure were taken care of. The hotel is a good location to hit the tourist sites we wanted to go to and the breakfast allowed us to hit the road quickly.

The amazing breakfast every morning that is offered, the quiet, calming entry way and lounge, the pool was perfect and so was the hot tub! We love staying here!

My husband and I were on our honeymoon. After dinner, we returned to our room but the key card did not unlock our door. We returned to the front desk. He re-activated it and it didn’t work the second time. We returned again to the front desk. He came with a master key to open our door and that didn’t work either. We stayed outside our room for thirty minutes as he hopelessly tried to find a solution. All of our stuff, including medication was in the room which we could not access. About 45 minutes later we were given another room to wait in while they tried to find a solution to get our door opened. It is now around midnight and still waiting. About an hour later, they finally got the door opened. The next morning, the manager was supposed to contact us, which of course, WE needed to initiate since he never called. He gave us a small discount and told us we would be contacted by higher up management. Of course no one ever contacted us. Very poor customer service. Very disappointed for the amount we paid and how we were taken care of. They ruined our experience and special evening.

So Comfortable!
We didn't know we had reserved such a nice room, we were so surprised! The staff was super friendly and they had appetizers and drinks in the evening. The guests felt like family! The breakfast was good! The room was comfortable and quiet and really clean. We were sad to only be staying one night and we would 100% come back!!! The gym needs some work but that's my only suggestion.
