Location
Great location central to Heavenly and Kirkwood. Hot tub was a necessity with its aggressive jets apres ski. Bill, the property manager, was responsive to any needs we had.

Beautiful location to spend a snowy couple of days.
The home is at the end of a court so it is nice and quiet. There is plenty of space to spread out in the home. The beds that were slept in were all comfy. The kitchen was well stocked so if you are making any meals there you should have most of what you could need other than spices and such. Some people might want to know there ars only two televisions, one in the living room and one in one of the bedrooms. Two tvs worked out perfectly for our group but if you have more people, especially kids, just know there are three bedrooms without television. Our only real complaint would be that the home needs a few more window coverings. The living room has a beautiful view out the back but there is a constant stream of people walking by during the day. It is a golf course but I guess during the winter people just hike through the area. The big slider door in the living/dining area is uncovered so everyone going by can see you in the living room and dining room. It would be nice to be able to close some drapes or blinds when you're eating breakfast sitting around in your pajamas. The other areas that need window coverings are the two bathrooms. They both face the back of the home as well and with the people walking by it makes for a very uncomfortable showering experience. Window coverings are something that is easily addressable so I didn't feel that warranted knocking off a star. I would definitely recommend this home and would love to stay there again in the future.

The Best Vacation Home
This home was the best vacation home we’ve ever stayed in, and believe me, we’ve stayed in plenty. The home seriously has a dream kitchen! There’s a 6 burner stove, two ovens, two microwaves, two sinks. I was amazed. The backyard is big and beautiful, it was filled with fresh powdery snow. The hot tub was amazing and already set to go upon our arrival. The house is one story but it is huge! We played with the pool table everyday. U can tell it’s an older house but with updated appliances and it’s more modernized overall. I can’t think of any con’s with this property. I will say that the email that was sent to me didn’t have the correct code to the lockbox but I called the number provided and within 5 mins, I had the correct code. Everyone had so much fun playing in the snow in the backyard. The shopping centers and markets are just down the hill. Such a good place, especially for the price. Thank you!

WONDERFUL TRIP WITH A FEW DOWNSIDES
It was very nice, but could use some work. The inside shower door comes off in your hands when moved. VERY DANGEROUS! The ice maker does not drop ice through the dispenser. The refrigerator was not set us for us to use. We had to work a while to figure out it was in holiday mode. That should be ready to use when arriving. Dishwasher does not clean dishes. We could not use the hot tub, even through we were charged a fee for it. The overall stay was wonderful.

Large comfortable place!
This is my families 3rd time in this house. It’s large, comfy, and set on the beautiful golf course. We love that the house is in Meyers, away from the crowds, and our kids love playing on the lawn. A few drawbacks are the sparse supplies in the kitchen and the few items that were not fixed already from previous years... screen door, living room window jammed, door hinge issues on one of the bedrooms, The dishwasher racks broken.

Great for large or Multi-familes
The home was perfect for our large group. Very open with lots of room for either a large family or 2 families. However, the refrigerator/freezer was not working properly. It took almost 2 days to get to temp and our ice slowly melted (dripping out of the ice dispenser in the door) during our stay. The property mgt. kept telling us it took a while for it to get up to temp after adding our food. However, our food was cold before adding it to the fridge and our ice was ICE and should not have melted. The large kitchen is awesome. It was well stocked with all the necessary appliances, gadgets and cookware and the huge island accommodated serving large meals. The home is ready for a little updating but overall we had a great time and would most likely book this property again.

Room to relax!
Plenty of room to enjoy a girls week vacation. The few negatives: Apparently the kitchen was designed for anyone over 6' tall. 2 of us gals were the main cooks and we are both 5' tall. They did provide a little step stool that helped reach into cupboards and stir the pots. Additionally, this is the first rental (and I have rented many) that had only 2 dishtowels, which we finally found and no seasonings, including salt & pepper. So do bring your own, unless you eat all your meals out. And we did have issue getting to understand the tv and what we could watch and a young man was sent out within the hour. He took the time to explain the programs, Roku, Netflix, etc., to us old gals, and we found the management office working late in evening and any request handled promptly. And note, the hot tub was cleaned at least twice in our 8 day stay. Overall we would rent again and maybe teach the other gals how to cook. We had great weather in September and drove the entire Lake and do suggest touring the "Lucky" Baldwin and Pope Estates at South Lake Tahoe, which was unknown to us on prior trips. Shop, gamble a little and mostly relax.

Weekend getaway
We had a total of 9 adults (2 couples and 7 singles) and we all fit comfortably. The place is very large and spread out which was nice. It’s a bit outdated and could definitely use a refresh. It had great views. A 20 minute drive to the lake (lots of traffic on the weekend) and casino. We had an issue with the refrigerator not working, It took a long time getting cold and their maintenance could not fix it. It was an inconvenience but we worked around it.

Big House, Not so Great Amenities
It's a huge house, laid out with a giant common area+kitchen that means a lot of folks can stick together and not feel isolated. The kitchen is nice, the location is nice and close to Riley's and Bog Dog Pizza + some other food places, easy to access being in Meyers for people coming from the Bay Area. However, if you do aim for a group of 10-12, you'll find yourself very quickly limited by just 2 bathrooms. Definitely keep that in mind. Also, our trip had very very poor amenities. The hot tub was very yellow and smelled strongly of sulfur, so we asked to have it flushed/cleaned the next day. That was taken care of quickly, however now the hot tub was a balmy 53*F and meant that it would stay below 70*F for the remainder of our stay. I think they may have used the hot water boiler as well to fill the hot tub, because after returning we got 2 hot showers out of the boiler and then the water went cold. So no hot water, no hot tub, 8 tired folks from a day of skiing. Things like the pool table are nice, but then 3 cues have broken/missing tips, no chalk, not usable for much more than an idle excuse to stand somewhere other than the main room. It is a nice house, the renting agency was quite helpful, but the experience was rather sub par, for us at least. There's so much potential, but the house needs some improvements to bring things up to the pricepoint it rents at. If the price was much lower, that would be OK, but in 5 years of renting for 10 folks in Tahoe, this was both the most expensive and the least enjoyable stay.
