Check in was difficult because it involved having to make a call from outside the property in order to clarify how the key pads worked..I was given codes for the key pads ahead of time but with no instruction to place the palm of my hand over the key pad first, this is why I had to make the call. I had to call more than once before I got an answer.
The corridors of the property are piled up with a variety of old equipment, laundry bags and rubbish. The corridors are dirty.
In my room, there was tea, coffee and cups provided, but no kettle. I sent a text to the contact who had helped me with the door, asking for a kettle, and I never got a reply.
The door to the room isn’t fitted correctly and so needed a good shove to get it to close. There was a desk and chair in the room, the chair was covered in dusty dirt. The tv remote was sticky, like it’s never been cleaned. The shower plug hole was blocked up, so I could only take a very quick shower in order to stop the water from getting so high that it would spill over the shower tray.
On the positive side, the bed sheets and towels were clean.
Overall I’d say this is a property to be avoided until the owners spend some time and money on fixing the problems.
