Reasonable rooms, imagine would be good for conferences. Limited tea and coffee, had to ask for towels as incorrect number, toiletries are dove. Very pricey bar. Carpets could do with a deep clean

Walls very thin and could hear the couple next door conversing until midnight. Did ask for a quiet room at reception but was advised the best way to achieve this would be to upgrade at a cost

Quite tired and not terribly clean - dirty glasses left outside of our rooms and mouldy bathroom ceiling. Rooms need better ventilation as even someone’s shower set off the fire alarm at 0650 in the morning. The window in one of our rooms couldn’t be locked. Staff didn’t seem to be aware that dairy free milk was an option when asked, even though I then found it myself at the breakfast buffet. Gluten free food was served even though we explicitly said one of our party was gluten intolerant, however this was subsequently dealt with well by the manager. Needs a refresh and better staff training.

Comfortable room although when I stayed it was very warm even with windows open and would have liked air conditioning No bottled water in the room or mini fridge to keep soft drinks and water cold Good bar facilities with a tasty menu with lovely terrace outside Excellent breakfast with both continental and cooked options

Very much of the usual excellent standard we receive on our stays. However the room was on the ground floor in the corner with a small window that overlooked bushes. Breakfast was superb especially the local sourced sausages.

The property was beautiful in the photographs, which swayed our choice to stay there. The old house is nice to dine in and have a drink in, and our room - which was in one of the accommodation blocks a short walk away was clean and tidy, and well appointed. The pool facilities were closed when we arrived due to maintenance, and then the following day the jacuzzi was out of service for the time we wanted to use it. There was also a wedding whilst we were there but this wasn't mentioned when we checked in. Fortunately we were out for the day but if facilities were unavailable it would be nice to know in advance. However this meant that it was very, very difficult to find car parking spaces! Good breakfast buffet with lots of options and dietary requirements - we loved the pancake machine. The restaurant and bar food prices seemed high for the quality, especially the bar menu - £20 for a greek salad...
