The stay went well with a clean hotel, plenty of parking and a great breakfast buffet. Unfortunately the end to my stay left a negative feeling about my stay. I unfortunately left some items in my room and called within hours and really experienced a difficult time getting real help in locating the items ultimately I didn’t get my items back.

Loved this place for our family of 5! Not only the great room but the pools were great and also covering breakfast! Love the surroundings and excitement for the kids.

Top notch except for bartender
The facilities, front desk staff, cleaning staff, and servers at the Riverside Grille were super friendly and good at their jobs. However, the male bartender at the RG on Saturday, August 10 was one of the worst I have ever interacted with. I’m pretty sure he knew how to make drinks but he was slow, mildly rude, in attentive.

Loved our stay here. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The only negative was the terrible smell. We were in the 300 block of the hotel and the whole thing smelled like someone had smoked meat…. And burnt it. Awful.

This hotel had lots to offer. If we had time and had looked into the amenities we would have used the pool. We did find thenpool side bar to be a delight with live music and a beautiful view of the river

This was a staycation for us and our 3 grandgirls. We are from the area. The outside pool was spectacular and we had poolside dining eliminating the need to dress and go off the property. We visited the indoor pool and it was wonderful too. The buffet breakfast felt more like a brunch! This will become an annual tradition for us! It had a small resort feel to our stay.

Simply excellent, from the welcome at reception to the check out. Staff outstanding, facilities wonderful. We were particularly impressed with the connection to local artists and creating an extensive gallery to display and possibly sell art works. Fantastic. Highly recommend this property.

Facility next to the Boise River and walking/biking paths. Good selections for meals. Great meeting or convention site. What I did not like - In our wing of hotel the ice machines on both 1st and 2nd floors did not work. The 4 nites we stayed there. Had to roam the halls of other wings looking for ice machine that worked. Went to less crowded indoor pool 3 times. Signs say no food or diving or unsupervised kids under 12. All of those occured each time with divers splashing those around them. Never saw a staff member check on the pool while we were there in the afternoons. Lastly, the weekday breakfastbuffets were OK but the Sundaymorning buffet was a fail. When I went there at 9a, MANY items were out with another hour left for breakfast buffet. Staff was not checking adequately to refill food containers. The little food that was there was cold in open near empty containers. I mentioned the situation to a passing employee. I had to scrape the empty scrambled egg serving dish to get a few cold scrambled eggs to eat. Maybe 10 minutes later a young gal did come by and started beinging out new containers of food, but I was done by then.

Very very outdated. Felt like a very old casino, dark, dreary, and nothing "premier" about it. Everything is spread out so much that just getting to a free breakfast in the morning you would have to get in your car and drive to the other end of the property to get in line with 100 other people and wait an hour to get a table. It was like an old dingy hotel in Vegas or an old run down college campus. No trollies to carry your luggage to your room, like old dorm room hallways. The beds were rock hard and we heard other people complain about them too. We paid extra for a river view room and you can't even see the river from your room, let alone hear it. Party band outside until 1 in the morning and everyone walking along the riverwalk was drunk. Room smelled like mold and was so dark and furniture all falling apart. Bathroom was nice. Canceled after two nights and went to Inn at 500 Capital for rest of our stay and it was AMAZING!
