The resort was breathtaking, the view was amazing. The hot tub and pools were clean. We stayed at the Dove lodge so it was a good location pool was just outside and the country club was right across from us. Staff was really friendly Kathleen got us in few hours before check in time and was super informative on the locations of the amenities and hours. Only thing is food at the resort is disappointing. Breakfast was soggy and dry. Dinner was not good here super bland. But other than the food the stay was great.

Love the view of the mountains. Lots of outdoor seating in different parts of the resort to take in the view, plus a lovely balcony in my room. The bed was supremely comfortable. The only problem has been that my mom and I are both vegetarians and the options were very limited in the main dinner restaurant- I ended up having to order from the kids menu (and Iā€™m 42!). And she had to eat protein powder in the room.

The outside of the resort and the main property were in very good condition. We stayed in the DOVE building and the inside of the rooms were very dated and old looking. It was a big let down compared to the rest of the facility. The inside of the rooms need to be modernized. The external activities like the pool and golf areas were awesome. Overall a good stay. Modernize the rooms and it would be a really nice place to stay!

Disappointed and expensive
I was greatly disappointed. We had stayed at the hotel in 2014 and we enjoyed the stay. This one was very disappointing. We arrived on Sunday evening and planned to unpack and then kick back on the bed to watch Sunday night football since our Chiefs were on!! But to our great disappointment the TV in our room didnā€™t have NBC. A basic network channel not on in our room. So instead of relaxing we were forced to put our clothes back on and go to the bar to watch the game. Then on Monday I visited the golf club to schedule a time to play. The only person there was not overly kind or helpful The TV in the room also has no guide for locating what you want to watch. The artwork in our bathroom was falling apart. Very disappointed in the place and will not return on our next trip to Colorado.

Not enough dining options. Went down to the restaurant by the golf course and stood there for 5 minutes and nobody waited on us. So my wife and I left. Need to offer shuttles to the area..

12 years ago when I last stayed at this resort it was on par with the Broadmoor. Wyndham has purchased the property and they should be embarrassed at the decline.The plumbing was backing up, the furniture in the room was rickety, the lighting was dim, the charging outlets did not work, the walls, floors, celings, vents and carpeting were filthy and every single seat in both dining areas looked as though someone had taken knives and slashed through the upholstery. At 2 AM there was a wedding party screaming at the top of their inebriated lungs for at least 20 minutes. In the morning the broken beer bottles on the ground from said party were not cleaned up. I was charged the resort fee for the so called privilage of using the hot tub and pool for which there was no handicap access. In addition there was no valet or baggage porter. It is not a resort. It is a disgrace.

Room was nice, but not as fancy as I would expect at a resort. The grounds and view were beautiful. Room was very clean. We ate at one restaurant and found the food to be ok. Not as good as we expected, again for a resort. Service was very good.

Itā€™s very beautiful. The only reason I didnā€™t give 5 stars for the property is the cabins are a little aged and there were wasp nests in the wood paneling of the balconies. Wasps didnā€™t bother us but others might not like that.

We were put in the Clear Creek. I'm not sure how old the building is, but it was wood framing which was fine. The problem was we were on the first floor and the room above's floor system squeaked like crazy. I'm not sure why the occupants moved around so much, but the floor was constantly squeaking everywhere they walked. My wife also found bugs and spiders in the bathroom area.
