Breakfast buffet was scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage depending on the day. Along with cereal, porridge, and a waffle bar. Decent breakfast. Staff were all friendly and easy to talk to. Accomodated a later checkout without issue. Only issue was a huge Palmetto Bug (roach) that ran across our room entryway when we arrived late in the night. Apparently these are native outdoor bugs, but can find their way inside from time to time. We had no other issues with bugs the entire stay, and family staying in a high end Air BnB also had one in their house. So I guess they're relatively common to the area. But they're fast, large, and terrifying if you're not used to them.

I had booked a suite as I had six family members with us. She gave us the room key and we went to the room, walked in and realized it wasnā€™t a suite, went right back down and told I was suppose to have a suite as I had six in my family. She had to look around to see if she could switch us? Which she did. She ask if the room she originally gave us was rentable? I told her Yes we saw it was t the right kind of room, so their waiting in the hall. We went into the suite and as we were unpacking found food still in the microwave and the blankets for the pull out couch had been used. We just put them aside and my girls got their blankets out of the car. Room was dated and not very clean.

We booked this hotel after Hurricane Helene. We have a 3 month old baby and needed a place to stay for the night. When we arrived at the Hotel it was completely dark! There was no power! The doors were wide open so I walked inside and the lobby was lit by flashlightsā€¦there was no one at the front desk to talk to. It was so weird and straight out of a movie! I have no idea how the hotel or Expedia for that matter, would have allowed us to book this hotel when it had no electricity. When I contacted Expedia about a refund I was told I would need to wait 7-10 business days to receive a refund. So not only did we not have a place to stay for the night but we also did not have money to reserve another hotel room!!!

Property is warm, clean & inviting. Breakfast was exceptional and complementing. Bathroom was clean but commodes are too low to floor with uncomfortable plastic cheap seats. Also shower curtains are thin and unprotective.Beds & beddings are very soft and comfortable.

Upon entering I was greeted by the person at the front desk. She assisted me and even said hello to my family including the doggie. I have stayed here more than once and it is a good stay each time.
