Beautiful room but we have several complaints. We weren’t told about the hidden resort fees of almost $30 until checkout. And this was after already paying the $20 resort fee when booking with Expedia. When I mentioned this to the employee helping me checkout she was a bit rude about it. I also mentioned to her that the bathroom could use attention in the room due to the dirty toilet bowl and the disgusting jets in the tub I was told that to do a deep clean they would have to shut the resort down, which doesn’t happen. There was also next to no water pressure in the shower. We also found the bed to be comfortable initially, but found it was noisy every time you rolled over. And then every time you got close to the edge it felt like there was no edge and you would almost fall off. We also found there to be a lot of road noise from passing traffic which started at about 5:30am. This meant we started our day at that time. Definitely no sleeping in here.

Great stay! Clean, cosy, comfortable! The restaurant on site is wonderful! We had great signature cocktails and asked the bartender to make one of her favourites and it was great! Food was tasty! Staff was super friendly The bed was very firm so not my cup of tea but the duvet was cosy. A little disappointed because we stayed in a 1 bedroom with loft and our friends did too and theirs was double the size of ours! Wild! Regardless we had a great time and the outdoor pool was one the the highlights!!

Pros: Friendly staff Boat parking Spacious accommodations Fitness facility Cons: We were upgraded from our 1 bed / 1 loft unit to a 2 bed 2 bath, unit 2216. At first this seemed lovely until we discovered the ensuite only had a jacuzzi tub and no shower. This meant we had a half bathroom as no one was going to use the jacuzzi. The unit is quite dated and had very limited supplies for a full kitchen. Aside from cutlery, there were 2 very dull knives, one old pair of scissors that wouldn’t even cut open a salad bag. 1 bowl, 2 cheap/old pots etc. The coffee maker was barely functional, same for the stove. Basically, the unit has the very bare minimum of supplies and they were cheap and old. There was a BBQ but the owners don’t permit guests to use it but you don’t know that until you arrive. We stayed for 4 nights but upon arrival discovered the supplies were for 2 night. (Coffee, dishwasher pods etc). You can text front desk for additional supplies but it’s an unnecessary hassle. There was an old stacked washer / dryer. The dryer knob kept falling off so you had to reattach every time you used it. Wall paper is peeling in washrooms, toilet seats cracked / ill fitting. The televison remotes didn’t fully work (power, volume etc) The unit needs to be refreshed and in room amenities are significantly lacking. We’ve stayed at this resort multiple times before and had better experiences. Will think twice before booking again for the price.

The staff was extremely accommodating. Location is exceptional if hiking and biking. Unless eating on site, driving into fernie is the only other option. Overall I certainly would recommend this property.

It was really expensive and only 2 places to eat at for dinner, or you had to drive into town. The hotel staff was really nice and the staff at the bar legends was really nice. But the menu is very limited small. They need sandwiches and other options. The hotel was nice and quiet until the weekend came and then it was full of families with kids running up and down the hall and in the room above us. I got some cleaning supplies and cleaned the sinks, tub and microwave. But the drain in the shower/tub was clogged with hair (you could see it down the drain) and our couch had a broken leg. The elevator sounds like it’s going to breakdown, so we mostly used the stairs. The ride on the chair lift on Saturday to see the view was outrageous!!!! Ridiculously expensive!! But other than that it was lovely.
