The Space:
★ The Accommodations at The Alvig House★
A quiet, tree-lined street leads to The Alvig House, a portent of things to come. As you approach,
you’ll see a path to the spacious open backyard, with a propane barbecue to grill your freshly
caught Walleye or Northern.
The front door opens to a light-filled, airy, open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen
with gleaming hardwood floors. Wall-to-wall windows facing the lake enhance the feeling of
openness and infuse the room with ever-shifting light as the day goes from sunrise to sunset.
As you cast your gaze to the beautiful outdoors, you might even see Bald Eagles soaring above
the lake by day, and hear the distinct sound of Loons flying in pairs to their nests.
The adjacent family room features plenty of relaxing seating and a 52-inch HD TV, and there are
games, books, and Legos for the little ones.
The kitchen is galley-style with new appliances and everything you need – dishes, glassware,
cookware, and flatware – to whip up some delicious meals.
The master bedroom, on the ground floor adjacent to the family room, has a queen-sized bed
plus a twin trundle bed that can be used for relaxing or sleeping. A seat beneath a large window
overlooks the lake. What a view! The downstairs bathroom also has plenty of natural light with a
shower and a large vanity.
Next, walk up the brightly lit stairway to a beautiful, spacious loft area. It includes a quiet
workspace, a full bed in a magical hideaway nook, a queen-sized bed, and a trundle bed. Watch
your favorite shows on a 43-inch HD TV. The loft area bathroom has a charming full bath and
shower area to wash off after a full day of playing on the lake.
Walking outside, you are greeted by a spacious green lawn with a panoramic uninterrupted view
of the lake. Relax in a lawn chair with a beverage as you breathe in the view.
There’s also a lovely landing on the rock shore with a firepit where you can roast marshmallows
during the spectacular Alvig House Green Lake sunsets.

Other Things to Note:
▶ This house is privately owned and does not include maid service or daily cleanings. The cleaning fee covers a final cleaning (after your checkout).
▶ We ask that you be very considerate of the neighbors by limiting loud music and turning off music by 9 PM. Also, please respect the neighbors' privacy by not intruding on their property.
▶ We are happy to accommodate small pets at our property. A non-refundable pet fee of $125 per pet per stay will be applied only to guests who indicate they are bringing a pet when making their reservation. If this is not indicated at the time of booking, we will request the pet fee payment manually.
▶ No smoking of any substance is permitted. Evidence of any type of smoking will result in a $250 fee, and you will be asked to leave without a refund for the remaining time of your reservation.
▶ Check-in is at/after 4 pm and check-out time is no later than 11 am. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability. Late check-out without prior approval will result in a fee of $100 per hour for each hour after 11 am.
▶ During check-in, you will find towels, linens, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and toilet paper provided for your convenience. Please note that we do not provide additional supplies during your stay, so we recommend planning accordingly.
▶ Trash bins are located outside under the overhang. Regular trash is collected every Monday morning, and recycling is collected once a month. Please ensure that all trash bags are sealed properly.
▶ Do not flush paper towels, wipes, trash, or feminine products down the toilet. Please use the bins instead. If it is found that something has been flushed and clogged the septic system, you could be charged damages.
