Nice downtown apartment
Posted 29 Sep. 2018 on HotelsMy wife and I were staying in this apartment for 7 nights. The apartment is big: a living room with a kitchen, a bathroom, a bedroom and loft with a queen bed and crib. The place is centrally located and very near the Old town (5-7 min to walk to the promenade). Everything for the kitchen was available. No microwave, but instead there is a stove range. We asked the owner, Kristina, a broom and she supplied it right away. The only minus was no elevator, this was a small discomfort for my wife, but this was more than compensated by proximity to the sea and sand beach. Also, it wouldn't harm to add a couple English TV channels, but for me this is not important since we both use wifi. In summary, an excellent place to stay in Split!

excellent apartment but shocking customer service
Posted 11 Aug. 2018 on Expediaexcellent apartment near the old city but proved to be a horrible experience because the owner does not understand what customer service means. not only were basic necessities like toilet paper and towels short, wi-fi did not work for most of our stay.
to make things worse she asked for the payment to be made in cash and finally when we went to make the payment in cash we were told she had already swiped my credit card!
she promised to cancel the card transaction when she received the cash but it went ahead and we ended up paying for the property twice- a complete nightmare.
took us two weeks and several calls to expedia, creditcard customer service and the hotel owner to get our money back.
i would not want anyone to suffer as we did

Dear, all mess accured because you did tell 3 times so in 3 different days that you would come to our reception and that you want to pay it in cash, so not to charge your credit card, after 3rd time when you did not come when you suggested you would come, your card has been processed, and then 4th time you insisted to pay it in cash and to cancel your card payment, which took me 2weeks phone calls to cancel, and all this in middle of season.
Further i called you several times to pay back the money, because it was easier than cancel the processed card payment, but you did not want to give me account where to pay. In 10 year renting never charged anyone twice. A

Perfect for a Split Experience.
Posted 13 Jun. 2018 on HotelsStay was good. The location is superb. Its a 3rd floor flat so it was a bit of an issue climbing (considering there was a medical condition with my wife). Flat is well maintained, however over a long stay it would help if it was serviced (at least once in 3-4 days).The wifi wasn't great and could do with some improvement. The owner is always accessible and was considerate to make our stay comfortable. The beds are a bit creaky and could have some improvement.

Loved this area, close to everything. Only problem is that being on the top floor, there were approximately 70 stairs up, with landing in between.
No elevator which is fine for younger or healthier people. Very clean and everything in place. Would highly recommend

Useful nice and cheap Apartment

The reception guy was really nice and helpful. He took 15 minutes to tell us all about Split and what to do.
The room is clean, functional and the kitchen allows you to cook real dinner.
I recommend this apartment
