Great golf stay!
This may be our favorite stay on our annual golf outing. From the moment we walked in, we enjoyed the cleanliness, amenities and beautiful view of the golf course. There is a large deck with plenty of seating and the location was very close to the restaurant where we anjoyed dinner with some local folks. We would definitely stay here again!

The home is beautiful. Setting on a golf course is very scenic. The course was challenging and well groomed. The host was wonderfully responsive to questions and accommodating with use of the facilities. If we would come back to the area we would stay again.

We love staying at this house when we are in Hubbard Lake. The Host, Cheryl, is excellent. Communication is easy. The house is well appointed with privacy. Very well maintained and has everything you need for your stay. It’s also spacious and kept very clean. We look forward to staying here again.

The property is convenently located to area attractions which afforded us some excellent opportunities to see some early fall color. This was a nice property with lots of room and all the amenities one might need. A quiet location on beautiful White Pines National Golf Course. Communication was great and the property was as advertised. We golfed and made trips to Alpena and Rogers City for biking on trails. Had a great weekend!

Serenity in Spruce!
My family and I stayed here for a weekend to visit Alpena since there wasn’t much closer. It was only a 30 minute drive and we’ll worth it. The deck overlooking the golf course was so relaxing and peaceful. The interior is nicely decorated and very cozy with so many amenities for the guests. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this location and I hope to return in the near future.

Lovely home.
This is a lovely home with a beautiful, peaceful setting. We enjoyed watching the golfers from the deck and seeing the resident deer population in the area. The lighting situation in the kitchen is a challenge as there are several light bulbs that need replaced. It would be helpful to know in advance that the master bedroom has a very firm mattress as it was uncomfortable for us. The kitchen is well stocked with most necessary items. It was convenient to have a full size washer and dryer. Cheryl is kind and promptly answered any questions I had prior to our stay. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in such an ideal location.

Love this place
Perfect. Everything was in good working order, clean, and well- stocked. The furnishings and decor were comfortable. We will come back next time we are in that part of the state. Hubbard Lake is quiet this time of year, but we were well-positioned to get to Alpena and points north, the AuSable River, and Oscoda. We are day hikers and there are plenty of great hikes in the area. This time we hiked at Highbanks, Ocqueoc Falls, Norway Ridge, and Negwegon State Pake. All beautiful this time of year. We also took the Shipwreck Tour on Thunder Bay. Hubbard Lake is quiet this time of year, but we were well-positioned to get to Alpena, the AuSable River, and Oscoda.
