Very tired and drab - Aubrey Park
This si the second visit to this property in the last few years, I didnt recall how poor condition it was the first time i visited ( for a week ) . Vomit uncleanrd at the top of the stairs to floor 1, a Buffet breakgast that quite frankly can only be descaribed as grim for the princeley sum of Ā£15, for this i woul dexpect fresh to order. The property itself is very tired and needs bvadky updating, location is great and it should potentially be a winner but service is mediocre at best.

Staff were very helpful (I was there convalescing after an operation). Staff shortages meant that a room meal was late/forgotten, and my room was not cleaned at all one day.

Sad part is that we chose this hotel to watch the football, when we was ready to have food at the bar and watch football we were told that it doesnā€™t work. So we had to leave the hotel in the rain to find a pub to watch the game. Hotel staff didnā€™t help or assist with recommendations. The breakfast in the morning, very mediocre, the area was very dated, didnā€™t look very pleasant. I wouldnā€™t stay here again, overall the hotel was a 2/5, very dusty and unclean.

Its just one of those Hotels that used to be nice but hasn't seemingly been renovated at all and is now slowly falling apart. What I did like is the change of towels every day.

The whole property needs updating and cleaning. Staff kept disappearing so no service in the bar. Would not recommend to anybody.

Great stay
Lovely stay at the hotel. Helpful kind welcome staff on reception. Lots of space in our junior suite. Lovely gym. Had a lovely meal in the evening and were impressed with the standard. The staff were lovely and accommodating with the kids. The grounds could do we a tidy up to be able to use the outdoor tables and pergola etc. The breakfast was nice but we arrived at 9.20 and felt like it was the end of breakfast although it said there was breakfast till 10. We wouldnā€™t want to waste food but it would have been nice to been offered to get anything that had run out such as bacon pastries etc but we had to ask for this, only a small thing but would have made us few more welcome for breakfast etc. overall we had a lovely stay and would come back.
