Im not a person to do reviews, but I guess this would be my first time. I arrived to a dirty room with yellow stains and black stuff all over it, with the room smelling like cigars, and with people all over the hallways( people live here, its not just a hotel). I had to wait around 3 hours to cancel my reservation as the lady in the office would walk away and disappear and then comeback, a really terrible experience I hope I never have to live again.

This “hotel” genuinely was the worst decision ever. I got there and there was someone out front waiting for the office to open because no one working was there and it was locked. When the person finally came, and I went to do check in, they told me that they simply overbooked and I had nowhere to sleep. I will never recommend anyone to stay at this location. I was also told of many terrible things happening at the hotel that are not even mentionable. I would never recommend this and will not be staying here again. Mind you, I am still waiting for my refund that I was told I would be given.

This place had mold in the curtains, the bathroom, roaches everywhere, everything smelled like cigarettes and marihuana, disgusting, the amount of dust and dirtiness was insane, the staff you had to call for them to show up in the main office worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

San Augustine deserve better
Only one poor employee on Thanksgiving Day. The room, which had two towels and a cockroach, had nothing else. A coffee service without a coffee maker, the floor so dirty that we had to clean it ourselves. The second day, an employee was sometimes there and grumpy with other guests (I smiled at her and she was nice to me). Maybe a bad weekend, but I prefer to try other hotels on my next trip.

Terrible experience, the worst hotel I have visited in 40 years, that should not be classified as a hotel, dirty rooms, stained sheets, bathroom with hair, terrible smell of dirt and humidity, disgusting common areas, it seems like people live there and dogs urinate on the door of your room, old and stained towels, in short, the worst experience of my life, in addition to arriving at 6 in the afternoon and my room was not ready, the people who are around the hotel have a lot to be desired, in short, if you do not want to have a very long description, do not go to this hotel

smelled like mold really bad. was even on my clothes not even 30 minutes of being in the room. couldnt even stay in the room and staff said there was no issues even though the smell of black mold sent my mom to the hospital. did not get a refund back because of people in office were not there to approve it. i waited three days just to be denied refund. would not recommend to stay here for any reason.

Didn’t have towels no batteries in the remote AC was leaking all over the floor. Dogs barking through the night. WiFi was horrible. Coffee but no coffee pot. Counters wasn’t cleaned off there was food crumbs all over it.
