The staff was very nice and pleasant, but couldn't help with some major issues. 1) Pool was scummy and very cold. When informed staff that the pool wasn't heating, they said the pilot light may have gone out. I saw the Maint person and he said someone more qualified would need to be called to light it. Stayed for a week and never got better. 2) The Ice machine on the 2st floor was broke. I asked at the front desk and was informed to use the machine on the 2nd floor. 3) The fridge in the room was worthless. It was designed to work for 2 hours and then shut off. Supposedly there was an 8 hour mode, but never got that to work. When informed the staff, they laughed and agreed it was worthless. 4) There was a storm the last night we stayed, and rain was dripping inside the window. I placed a towel to soak up the water so that the AC didn't get shorted. In general, the place is old and needs serious maintenance. However the staff was friendly and tried to help wherever possible

This is an old hotel with antiquated furnishings and fixtures. They use a lot of air freshener to mask the funk. Seems to be below the average standards of Marriott properties. Needs an update badly.

Never staying here again.
Weā€™ve been staying at this hotel for 10 years but will not stay here again. The hotel is no longer clean and tidy. Stains on the walls and carpet, bathtub was disgusting and drain was not working. The lighting in the hotel was dark and a heavy perfume covered the hallways. There was still no coffee available at 7:00 in the morning. So disappointed to see the hotel in this condition. Like I said, we will no longer use this hotel. Also spoke with another guest who had been using this hotel for 15 years and they will never book again here.
