For the second consecutive year we celebrated our anniversary here and just like last year, we discovered our room was decorated for us along with a chilled bottle of sparkling juice and Hershey kisses. The staff was fantastic from check-in to check-out and were very informative about local area.

Property is very old and not well maintained. The pictures do not match the actual rooms. Wallpaper coming off in the room as well as in the building in stairwells, walls banged up, tarnishing or corrosion on items in the bathroom. Our bathroom had cobwebs up by the ceiling. Room smelled musty and bed mattress sagged. I paid extra for a jacuzzi tub, it was a standard size tub and jets were dirty. I will not stay at this property again.

My stay was cut short due to my husbands illness. He has COPD and we needed to leave immediately as we had a 3 hour drive home. I was told at the desk that the hotel Wouldn’t charge me for the next night but I had to call Expedia and they would have to give consent to the hotel. I called and had to leave a voice mail . I hung around for 5-10 minutes and still no call. I went in and spoke with the lady at the front desk again. And still no call. I still haven’t received a call from Expedia and we use this website quite often. I believe we were not treated fairly.
