This unique, pet-friendly, 2 bed holiday cottage in St Ives, Cornwall is a quirky fisherman's cottage, full of character with beamed ceilings, wooden floors, sash windows and a stable door.
It is on a quite pretty terrace just minutes walk to beaches,restaurants,pubs,shops.

The cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises:
• 2 bedrooms:
• 1 Double room, with vanity mirror, hairdryer, iron, clothes rail and a cot (if required). From this room you can look out across a pretty garden, with its abundance of flowers, and catch a glimpse of the sea;
• 1 Twin room, with 2 single beds (one smaller than the average sized single bed) and clothes rail.
• 1 bathroom, with shower – towels are provided;
• Lounge area (with board games) and a log burner – perfect for those winter evenings.
• Modern kitchen with electric oven, microwave, smoothie maker, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and tumble dryer;
• Three-tiered, south facing garden, with BBQ area and an outside tap – please use this tap to wash your wetsuits outside;
• Small dogs are very welcome, at an additional cost of £40 per dog. Please note that dogs are not allowed on furniture or on beds please.

The cottage is set on a pretty terrace with another 10 cottages, which are all unique and different. All of the cottages have gardens, which is unusual for St Ives! Despite the number of cottages, the terrace is very quiet and all of the cottages’ residents are lovely and friendly.

The cottage’s three-tiered, south-facing garden, is a perfect place for you to relax and enjoy your morning coffee over breakfast or an evening wine, whilst cooking food on the BBQ.

The cottage is suitable for single people, couples or families.

There are 5 beaches in St Ives, one of which is dog-friendly all year round!

Both the beach and the cobbled streets of St Ives, which have lovely shops, restaurants and pubs, are only a 5 minute walk from the cottage.

Very pretty terrace of houses, peaceful with a beautiful garden. Not ideal for anyone with mobility issues as any way you go, it’s up a steep hill. The cottage is small, the stairs are steep and the upstairs is somewhat cramped. We had a lovely time in St Ives

Wonderful stay in St Ives
We loved our trip to St Ives. The cottage was great for us, as a family of 3. I appreciated the location; on the outskirts of the centre, so you're close to everything but not sureounded by tourists all the time. The cottage is small, but enough space for the three of us and lovely to have some outside space to use. We dound the knives in the kitchen very blunt, which did make cooking a bit difficult, but that was our only minor complaint. Lisa was on hand with support when needed, which was much appreciated. Would certainly recommend to others.thatkitc

Spend time back in time
As travelers from Australia, we decided on a self contained old worker's cottage as a change from the ordinary motels. We were not disappointed. Although small ( or compact ), the house came with the mod cons we required. Whether summer holidaying or like us, travelling about Cornwall, the house is central to beaches, shops, transport and restaurants and tourist spots.

A lovely little miner's cottage. All amenities are here and its only a short walk to shops, cafés and beaches. Parking is a problem having only paid off site parking but a small problem considering the experience. Would recommend this cottage to all

great location to both the harbour and The Tate.
we had a very enjoyable time. the cottage is very snug and doesn't take long to warm up.. Very well decorated throughout perfect in size for a small young family. Also the housekeeper obviously takes a lot of care as it was very clean throughout .As mentioned you couldn't get a better location. we wouldn't hesitate in going back there. Tat ta.. lee , Asa and Edvin.

Last minute booking.
We would not have chosen this property but our original cottage was cancelled the day before due to boiler failure. This property was chosen as it accepted a dog. But there were some major problems that we informed the manager about. The kettle was split on the bottom and leaked water. The main tap in the kitchen would come off and splash water everywhere if we turned 2 taps on. The main bedroom had a king sized bed and so no room to get in and out. Lack of draw space. The shower leaked on to the room below every time it was used but no water came out on to the bathroom floor. The smaller bedroom had 2 beds but no room between the beds and sockets and switches were sited just above the pillow on one bed. We think it is overpriced but we were grateful for the stay so do NOT want this review to be public. Just for your information and hopefully manager can sort out some of the problems. She was helpful and responded quite quickly but these items above need addressing and soon. We have pictures

Charming cottage

Beautiful Cottage
My two young daughters and I spent a fabulous week in this pretty little cottage. I made use of the parking on offer; I was a bit of trek up the hill and pricey but worth it given the parking stress in the area, not sure what I would have done without it! The cottage itself was very pretty with lots of lovely ornaments and pretty touches around the place. Basic provisions including, bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee were even provided. The tiered garden was lovely for relaxing with a book and drink at the end of the day. Communication with Lisa was excellent before and during the stay. Would definitely recommend this place and Lisa as a host.

Great location, cosy cottage
We are a family of 4 with a dog and had a great holiday in this cottage. The location is very central, close to all beaches and shops. It was clean and the owner was very helpful and attentive. The cottage is typical of St Ives in that it is small with low doorways and four adult-sized people is probably too many as storage space is limited, but for anyone else it’s a good base.

Lovely cottage
Lovely cottage close to all the amenities that St Ives has to offer. Just a 5 minute walk to the shops and 15 mins to the beaches. Property is clean with a small garden where we BBQ’d one night. It’s a small cottage which was fine for four of us but probably too small for 4 adults. Lisa the owner very communicative and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a lovely St Ives break!

Beautiful little cottage
We had a gorgeous stay in st Ives despite the rain. Lisa called a couple of times before the trip to make sure everything was taken care of. We parked at a neighbours house which was about a 10 minute walk from the cottage. Once the car was parked we barely used it as all the attractions in st Ives were within walking distance. The parking was £12 per day which was a bit pricey. The cottage is so lovely but it is small. It was just right for me and my husband but you’d be a bit squished with more people. The double bed was really comfortable and we used the second bedroom to hang our clothes and store our bags. The bathroom was very lovely though the shower cubicle is small. My husband completely filled it so couldn’t turn around or bend down. I would also mention the stairs are quite steep which was no problem for us but could be tricky for someone with mobility issues or small children. The whole cottage is light and airy. The kitchen well equipped and Lisa left us some essentials for when we arrived which was a nice touch. The sofa in the living room was very comfortable and the garden was stunning (if only we’d had better weather). The neighbours are super friendly often stopping for a chat when they passed by. We mainly explored st Ives and it was an easy walk into town. We explored the shops, restaurants and bars. During the Covid pandemic it was essential to book well in advance. I booked restaurants a month before our trip. The Porthgwyyden cafe was fantastic and we also enjoyed drinks at The Upper Deck ( perfect for an afternoon people watching). We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Thank you Lisa for being attentive. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Pretty cottage
We spent a week in this delightful cosy cottage with it’s pretty garden. Very close to the centre of St Ives with its wide range of restaurants, cafes, beaches and shops. Sadly lots of restaurants closed at short notice due to Covid outbreak but still had an excellent week.

This is a lovely really quaint property in a good location near to the town. Good facilities and nice quirky items adorn the rooms which we liked. Owner was excellent with communication and a follow up call was nice to how thing when and anything we could suggest to improve. Well reccomended.

A quaint cottage
We enjoyed our stay. The cottage is ideally placed to walk into St Ives in just a few minutes. The bed was very comfortable and the power of the shower was fantastic! We loved it but the stairs could be an issue for some people, this is an old cottage and has many character features. We parked, with the owner’s help, on a friends driveway and I imagine this is essential in the summer. If you arrive after dark, which we did, make sure you have a torch/phone light so you can see the key safe properly. The owner was very responsive and always answered emails promptly.

We had a nice stay here but were disappointed by the size of the property, we didn't feel as though the pictures/information showed how small the property really was. It was very difficult to access with a pram and there really wasn't much room for relaxing on the tiny sofa with 3 adults! However, the beds were very comfy and the shower was nice and powerful, the garden would be nice in warmer months too. There were lots of lovely touches in the property. The kitchen was well equipped but unclean in places. Overall we enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Great stay
We had a great stay in this little cottage it was ideal for the three nights me and my wife were in town for very clean and close to town centre. One problem we booked this cottage because it’s advertised with parking this was not the case unless prearranged to park on someone else drive way which we was not aware of so had to find some back street space about a five minute walk away there is a carpark just down the road which I used for the final night as it was closer to the property 12 pounds for 24 hours
