Ready for a quick getaway? St. James is the gateway to beautiful wineries and a microbrewery.

Just a few miles away you can be trout fishing at historic Meramec Springs Park or visit one of the many nearby resorts for a float trip.

St. James is also the host of the best Mountain Bike / Hiking trail in all of Missouri. Several award winning restaurants nearby, or stay in and take advantage of a full kitchen, BBQ Grill, and Outdoor Dining. This is a pet free home.

This quaint little bungalow offers space for five. Large backyard and all of the amenities you would want in your home away from home, including lightning fast Wi-Fi.

Conveniently located in the heart of St. James with proximity to nearby river ways, Maramec Spring Park, Old Route 66, the St. James Golf Course, and numerous local wineries. Located right next to St. James Highschool. Approximately 100 miles from St. Louis International Airport, 35 miles from Ft. Leonard Wood, and 120 miles from Springfield, Missouri.

We will start you off with a few things (toilet paper, laundry pods, etc) so you can ease into the home. Longer stays may require you to pick up more supplies.

Check in is 3PM and check out is at 10AM. So that our cleaning service can properly prepare the home for the next guests we are RARELY able to accommodate early check in or late check out. Please book an additional day if you foresee you will need different times.

Well behaved pets are allowed.

The Getaway Trolley Runs 11-8 Fri and Sat and 11-3 on Sunday. $25/person all day on Fri and Sat and $15/person on Sunday. Make stops at St. James Winery, Public House, Meramec Vineyards, Prairie Barn, Sybills, Just a Taste, Leatherwood, and will be adding Spencer Manor Winery.

Extended stays may be available for Travel Nurses and special circumstances.

Gorgeous yard, sweet home.
Hosts very easy to work with. Clean & sweet smelling. Nicely appointed kitchen. Beautiful, large, fenced-in yard perfect for throwing catch with our poodle. Covered back porch entertainment ready. Would stay again and invite friends & family to use as well!

We had a great stay at this property. My dog really enjoyed running around the backyard. Ants were found on the couch and communicated with the host. Nothing was done to rectify this for us. Otherwise really great place near downtown St James.

Overall enjoyable stay
Only issue waa I didn't like having to take care of trash can. It was already at the curb when we got there Wednesday but then had to roll both carts back up on Friday morning. Don't mind taking my own trash out but picking up others that fell out and rolling back up was not so pleasant.

Game day and fishing.
We came to watch our grandson play in his first football game at Missouri S &T. Then we spent two days trout fishing and exploring the Merimac river and St James. Our stay was good, and the house met all of our needs. I would have liked the yard to be a little more inviting. especially the back porch as the furniture cushions were dusty and spider webs were on the back side. Also, the grill had not been cleaned since last used. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Adorable
This little house is in an ideal location. Within walking distance of the quaint town as well as the football field. The kitchen had everything necessary and we added some sugar for the next guests. The linens were high quality and the furnishings period specific which was beautiful. The smart tv in the livingroim worked wonderfully for us to log into our streaming services. The best part was the back porch overlooking the garden Gorgeous! Would definitely stay here again.
