I loved the decor and all the artists portraits. What I did not like was the early wake ups from banging and clanging from the elevator work. If front desk had made us aware of the work being done or placed us in a room away from the elevator, it would have been a much more pleasant stay.. I told front desk and they apologized but after 2 nights stay and early wake ups, I don’t this an apology was adequate.

This is a beautiful hotel and the staff staff were exceedingly helpful. Unfortunately, we needed the staff to be extremely helpful due to some dysfunctioning items in our guest room. There is only valet parking, but it was very reasonably priced and it was easy to come and go as needed.

No parking!
No parking! Spent a small fortune to stay at this hotel for one night and had to park on the waterfront, a 20 minute walk from the hotel. I was not made aware of this before booking! I’ve stayed here before and had no issues. I’ve also reached out to the hotel via email and social media with no response. Not good enough.

We arrived at the hotel at midnight. There was no parking available (the available parking is a joke) and we spent 20 minutes searching for a parking spot on the street. Eventually we got a $50 dollar parking ticket. Front desk tried billing my card twice for the same room. Our room was very nice and comfortable and it is a nice hotel but the grout in the shower was dirty and moldy.

This was a great place to stay. The room and bed were comfortable. We were out exploring and didn’t spend much time in the hotel so comfort was a priority for us. The hotel is walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and bars. I would stay at the Jag hotel again on my next visit to St.John’s.
