I've stayed in the inn across the parking lot. This is just as nice at a much reduced rate. Staff was friendly. Looked like the property has been kept up. The hotel was getting a new roof while I was there.

Disappointing Stay
Had to spend the night last night because I could not get home due to flash flooding. Booked at last minute on Expedia because other hotels were booked. Wanted to change credit cards when checking in but they would not allow it and blamed it on Expedia. The TV did not work the entire stay and they could not fix and did not replace it. No discount or considerations. They blamed that on Expedia as well. Would not reccommend.

I basically had a good overnight stay. Some furniture could use updating. The desk chair did not stay "up" for one in room #209. The morning breakfast did not have much to offer but perhaps because it was Tuesday morning. Handicap parking was easy and across from the front door.

Would stay again under the right circumstances
Check in was easy. Facility was clean, and inviting. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Only 2 small things. Towels were a bit rough (texture), and the hot portion of breakfast was just one breakfast casarole, and some biscuits and gravy. (I believe there were waffles as well, but I don't eat those) Other than that, pretty decent.

Great hotel, needs touch up.
The hotel was overall a good stay. Blankets on beds need to be looked at. Ours looked like it got too hot in the drier, starting to fall apart, had bare spots. Furniture some had hardware missing, but drawers were clean. Room was clean, smelled nice. TV in lobby needs to be on a more politically neutral show.

It's fine. Stayed here before, prob would again. Not fancy, it's comfortable, didn't smell but needs updated. Not sure the cleaning is where it should be...found a contact on bathroom floor and just some other things look haphazard/whatever works. Front desk lady was very personable & and accommodating. Great location for SIUE and restaurants. Skipped the hotel breakfast and went to Twisted Biscuit across the street for a sitdown breakfast....pricey but highly recommend.
